  • Production and Marketing Techniques of Harry Potter
Units 25,26 Task 3 Lauren Rosenfeld Production and Marketing Techniques of Harry Potter Harry Potter is a fantasy film series, with eight films beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and culminating with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011). It is based on the fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The novels follow the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is the third highest-grossing film series with $8,539,253,704 total worldwide gross. It had a $1.2 billion budget, meaning it made a profit of over $7 billion. The series was mainly produced by David Heyman, and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson as the three leading characters: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. Four directors worked on the series: Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuarón, Mike Newell, and David Yates. It was distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, with the main story arc following Harry Potter's quest to overcome his arch-enemy Lord Voldemort. A spin-off prequel series began in 2016, consisting of five films, starting with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The Fantastic Beasts films mark the beginning of a shared media franchise known as the Wizarding World. It is part of the fantasy genre due to the use of magic, mythical creatures such as goblins, three headed dog, dragons and trolls, in a setting that does not exist.

  • Ashley Moyé Press Release
Contact: Ashley Moyé media(at)ashleymoye.com NEWS RELEASE December 19, 2019 RELEASE IMMEDIATELY Was the Final Trilogy of Star Wars the Victim of Corruption? Actress and writer, Ashley Moyé, released a public statement via video message, on her web site at: https://ashleymoye.com, the transcript to which follows: “So, you're not happy with Star Wars? The climactic end didn't turn out to be so climactic. Well, there's no surprise there. Lots of people, and myself included, who saw Episodes VII, VIII... I haven't seen IX, yet, but I can only imagine, were wondering all this time 'Where is this going?' 'What's the point?' 'It's like a big segue; a segue to what?' Well, it seems to me that the script that George wrote, formulated around 2008-2010, along with: Ewan, myself, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher, and Steven Spielberg, got tossed out the window. Why did it get tossed out the window? I believe this is why. “In 2005, I was deputized as a federal agent by then-President George W. Bush, when I was recruited to be an informant in a federal criminal investigation, of which involved David Miscavige, COB for the Church of Scientology, and actor Matthew McConaughey; with particular regard to alleged crimes which took place in Frederick, Maryland — crimes which included multiple murders. “It is my opinion that this matter has not yet been resolved, as corruption exists in the U.S. Department of Justice; that is also to say, The White House. “If I do not make any further comments on this matter, it is highly probable that I've been served with a gag order, just as many other witnesses have already been served and/or have been strongly instructed to remain silent — persons such as: Tom Cruise; Keanu Reeves; Johnny Depp; Ewan McGregor; and Jude Law.

  • Harry Potter's Tom Felton Accused of Fathering a Secret Love Child
Harry Potter’s Tom Felton Accused of Fathering a Secret Love Child Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows stars are used to spending time on the red carpet, but now they’re under fire in the tabloids. Seven male stars from the Harry Potter film series have been accused of fathering a secret love child via an anonymous postcard published on the blog, Postsecret.com. Actor Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series, said via Twitter, “My friend just found this on the web! Just to confirm that I can be cancelled out of this equation.” Oliver and James Phelps, who play George and Fred Weasley respectively, also denied the accusation, but Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Jason Isaacs, and Alan Rickman have yet to comment. How do you handle secrets in a relationship? Cupid’s Advice: Truth and honesty are necessary for a healthy relationship, but sometimes sharing secrets seems to do more harm than good. Cupid offers some thoughts on how to spill unsavory surprises to your partner: 1. Consider the situation: If you’re as shocked to learn about something as Tom Felton was, look at the big picture. Figure out if your partner is likely to hear the news, if the information will affect your relationship, and if it’s something that should be taken seriously. 2. Put yourself in his shoes: Think about how you would take this news if it were the other way around. Use your partner’s personality as a guide for breaking the news. 3. Establish a policy of full-disclosure: If your secret isn’t a surprise to you like it was to Tom Felton, take this opportunity to re-establish the trust in your relationship.
