Order of Routine

1. Over the towel, use the tapotement sticks up and down the leg 2. Uncover the leg, apply oil to the leg using effleurage strokes 3. FULL MONTY – Apply long sweeping static rolls from the ankle up to the base of buttock and down over the outside of the thigh x3 4. FULL MONTY – carry out a rowing criss cross action over calves and thigh 5. FULL MONTY – use the stick as a pivot by placing your hand under the stick against the hip, stretch the muscles of the outer thigh x3 6. HALF MONTY – carry out a mixture of long and short static rolls along the length of the leg 7. HALF MONTY – hold the ends of the stick and apply a vibration movement to the back of the leg x2 8. HALF MONTY – lift the lower leg up and roll the stick down towards the back of the and gently sweep back x3 9. HALF PINTS – with one in each hand, use curved side to circle around Achilles 10. HALF PINTS – stand side on, one in each hand, petrissage and thigh 11. SHORTIES - one in each hand, carry out long stretches over the thighs 12. SHORTIES – using end, apply pressure into Gluteals 13. SHORTIES – effleurage to whole leg 14. SHORTIES – glide down inside of , apply pressure to sole

Repeat with other leg

Back and Shoulders – avoid pressure on spine

1. Use tapotement sticks over the towel working from sacrum up to shoulders, across and down other side 2. Uncover and apply oil 3. FULL MONTY - on one side, starting at sacrum, long sweep up, across the shoulders and down x3 4. FULL MONTY – apply criss cross rowing action across shoulders 5. FULL MONTY – long and short static rolls up one side to the shoulders 6. FULL MONTY – pivot at the side of the hip 7. Swap sides and repeat 3-6 8. HALF MONTY – stand at head and applying to one side at a time, long static strokes to stretch the small of back, then rolling pin action. Both sides 9. HALF MONTY – stand at head, rowing movement across the spine, back and forth and slide back up

10. HALF MONTY – stand at head, stretch out Trapezuis and back of neck, twist and knead. Do both sides 11. HALF MONTY - stand at head, pivot with stick across both Traps and back of neck 12. HALF MONTY – stand at side, abduct scapula, support. Stretch rhomboids towards the spine on one side only 13. HALF MONTY – arm at the side, use stick to pivot around muscles 14. Swap sides and repeat 12 and 13 15. HALF PINTS – stand at side, working on one side of spine away from you, with narrow flat ends, drain away from you, then apply static pressure points, then circular movements 16. Swap sides and repeat 15 17. HALF PINTS – stand at head, with one in each hand, knead across Traps and shoulders and drain around scapula 18.HALF PINTS – stand at head, with one in each hand, work down spine applying static pressure, then circular movements, then vibrations 19. SHORTIES – stand at head, with one in each hand, apply pressure with the end of sticks using rotary motion into Traps 20. SHORTIES - roll up the back of the neck and stretch 21. SHORTIES - stand at side, stretch out towards neck and sacrum.

Turn the client over

(Place support under the knee if needed)

Front of leg (avoid Tibia shaft and knee)

1. Over the towel, use the tapotement sticks up and down front of leg 2. Uncover the leg, apply oil to the leg using effleurage strokes 3. FULL MONTY – apply sweeping effleurage up outside of leg to thigh and hip and down x3 4. FULL MONTY – criss cross rowing action over thighs 5. FULL MONTY – pivot outside of thigh 6. HALF MONTY – long and short static rolls up and down thigh 7. HALF MONTY – Lift lower leg and roll down to stretch out thigh muscles then calf muscles. Lower leg back down again 8. HALF PINTS – stand side on, petrissage lower leg 9. HALF PINTS - circular frictions around ankle 10. SHORTIES – slide down side of foot, then with the end apply pressure into sole of the foot, then tap.

Repeat on other leg

Arm and hand

1. Over the towel, use the tapotement sticks up and down the arm and over 2. Uncover and apply oil 3. HALF MONTY – sweeping effleurage to whole arm, around shoulder and back down 4. HALF MONTY – place their hand across their chest and apply long and short static rolls, then rolling pin, then vibrations to upper arm towards shoulder 5. SLIM JIM – rolling pin action over lower arm. (tender) 6. HALF PINTS – with one in each hand, carry out frictions to lower arm 7. HALF PINTS – place one in the clients hand and hold, sweep along inside of arm and down outside of arm 8. HALF PINTS – still holding clients hand, drain in between metacarpal spaces of hand 9. SHORTIES - petrissage then press and twist the stick in the hand

Repeat on other side

Front of Shoulders and Neck

1. Apply oil to chest and around shoulders 2. SHORTIES – one in each hand, sweep across front of chest, around shoulders and up back of neck x3 3. SHORTIES – turn clients head to one side, static roll from shoulder up to neck and stretch, on one side only 4. SHORTIES – still with head to one side, press and twist ends into Traps, one side only 5. Repeat 3 and 4 on other side 6. MIDDLE MAN - head to one side, use as a pivot around side of neck (gentle) both sides 7. MIDDLE MAN – place at back of neck and roll stick towards occipital and stretch (avoid if disc problems)
