We suggest you to arrive on October 26 and leave on October 30. From Incheon Airport (ICN) to Daejeon: By airport bus :

1. It will take about 3 hours from Inchon International Airport to Daejeon (GOVT. COMPLEX-DAEJEON) 2. The bus may stop at the service area on highway. 3. Actually, the destination (GOVT. COMPLEX-DAEJEON) is second stop of the bus and most of people will get off. 4. Walk 10 minutes to Toyoko Inn.

By train:

1. Take the airport train from the airport to Seoul station (서울역). (45 minutes) 2. Take the KTX train from Seoul station to Daejeon station (대전역) (1 hour) 3. Take the subway from Daejeon station to Government Complex (정부청사) (20 minutes) 4. Walk 10 minutes to Toyoko Inn (Hotel)

Hint:

1. Taxi is cheap in Korea; Don't be afraid of taking taxi from Daejeon station to KAIST or Toyoko Inn. For 20-miniute ride, a taxi normally costs less than $10 if it does not cross city boundary. 2. No tips in restaurants, taxi, or anywhere in Korea. 3. Electricity: 220V, european plug.

From Gimpo Airport to Daejeon:

TRAIN OPTION

In order to go to Seoul station from Gimpo airport, you have 3 options: 1. The airport train : ₩1200. About 20 minutes. 2. Airport limousine bus (number 6001): ₩7000. Every 30 minutes. 3. Bus (number 605): ₩1000, Cash. Every 8~12 minutes. Bus gate: 6 If you arrive at Seoul station, 4. Take the KTX train from Seoul station to Daejeon station (대전역) (1 hour) 5. Take the subway from Daejeon station to Government Complex (정부청사) (20 minutes?) 6. Walk 10 minutes to Toyoko Inn (Hotel)

BUS OPTION 1. The bus from the airport is the most convenient way to reach Daejeon. 2. It takes about 2 hour 30 minutes to reach Daejeon. 3. The bus leaves at Gate 1 in the picture below. ₩13,500/person. Bus schedule from the airport to Daejeon : 07:25/10:55/11:55/13:55/14:55/16:55/18:45/20:25
