Its low weight (290kg) ensures maximum agility and stability for optimum imaging quality. EROS B satellite is expected to provide services for about10 years. • The satellite is fully operational and the imaging capacity, accuracy and images quality are as expected and even more. EROS B Satellite – Imaging Capabilities Coverage Capability Coverage Capability

• The coverage capacity depends on the season and the sun position • All data calculated to a 4000km pass 21 targets at ±5 degrees 8 targets at ±45 degrees Mosaic- 28x50km (start angle: 45 , finish angle: -45)

• 1A Processing “cleans up” the : – Radiometric irregularities of the camera are corrected based on long term statistics of each cell of the sensor – Ruler separators and overlapping pixels are removed – Camera and Pushbroom deconvolution corrects the camera’s built-in distortion 1A1A ProcessingProcessing 1B1B ProcessingProcessing

• 1B Processing corrects the image geometrically. • After a 1A image is produced, the processing module resamples each pixel in it’s proper geographic orientation, based on the WGS84 reference frame. • A 1B image has it’s geographic information stored within the image, such that it can be opened with a GIS program in its actual location and orientation. 1B Processing ServicesServices OverviewOverview ImageSatImageSat ServicesServices

• Enabling the user to order “Normal” and “Rush” priority data. • Enabling the user direct reception of the data to his ground station. • Enabling the user to operate the satellite (to control the camera) in a defined area (might be limited or worldwide). Give him direct access to the satellite and the data. GeolocationGeolocation accuracyaccuracy "EROS B in CwRS 2007 campaign"

• ImageSat covered 8 sites (3285 km2) with EROS B • 5 sites were orthorectified . • The orthophotos were prepared by IIT.

Mr Gabi Lubowski from IIT will present now the orthophoto process and the accuracy achieved."
