And that's what I've done since the May 2017 issue of Metal Hammer magazine (MAIDEN - This Time It's War), which featured a fantastic cover that would attract an Iron Maiden fan like me just to illustrate. As for Virgo, the magazine came up with an interview Steve Harris, made by journalist Dom Lawson, and a joke made by the magazine's production team, ranked the band's 50 greatest songs. Life usually lasted until early July 2017, when Rolf published on WhatsApp Roadie Crew in June, whose cover was IRON MAIDEN - the band's 50 most current songs. Rolf, bring this magazine to work, let's compare it. When you open magazines, it's clear that lists 50 plus are completely different. However, the interview with Steve Harris is a pure translation of Metal Hammer, and the credits of Dom Lawson for the interview are presented in a Brazilian magazine. And my questions are still up in the air... Did you really have to wait for the Metal Hammer edition to come out to have hey, let's make a list of Virgo's 50 greatest songs? Wouldn't this question be approved internally if it had not been placed in the gringa journal? Where is the novelty that the Brazilian media should have? Did you really need to buy the rights to Don Lawson instead of getting some other interview with Maiden? Wasn't it enough just a list needed to follow the same interview format and list (even if it was worth the question, how does it cover)? And just to kill curiosity, here are some figures that I have drawn in comparison to the two lists made by the editorial of relevant magazines and guests. Let's be clear, I didn't find any criterion in either of the two magazines that followed for the editing rating, but neither album stopped being considered. It follows the top 50 of each magazine: Song Distribution into an album: two songs had the same locations throughout the top 50: Hallowed to be your name, first, and aces high in fifth place. And among the top 50 in both lists appeared 41 songs. Let's see which 9 tracks that each editorial gave exclusivity: Metal Hammer: These colors don't work; No more lies; When the wild wind blows; If you go home; The longest day; Tailgunner; Montsegur; The Man on the Edge and the Empire of the Clouds. The last frontier; Spend love for the good of God; Everyone who has discussed the list (and here at HM Minute is permanence) knows that it is very hard to surpass the lists, even more involving the ranking. I'm sure everyone who has read this post will put some and create your own list after all. The 5-phase project management model is applied as the base on which this thesis is built. The research is conducted by comparing the theoretical and practical approach used in the music event business. The practical approach is based on examinations and interviews with the world market leader in live entertainment – Live Nation. An additional analysis of practices used in other large and successful music events in Europe and USA is also conducted. As this thesis shows, the practical approach is often easier and less rigorous than the theory. Some of the steps in this process may be simply omitted due to being considered of little relevance by the management team, many other are outsourced to professional agencies depending on requirements (security, catering).
