We involved under different capacities in this project covering water, waste water, solid waste, air pollution and desertification sectors. My contributions were in the pollution of water sector where special attention were paid at remediation of ground and surface waters in Kirkuk Province. The baseline survey was supported by available and additional data collected, which were synthesized and modeled for a proper outcome of the above project. Several rounds of sampling including data gathering were completed in Iraq aiming at synthesizing environmental outcome for the governorate to take strategic decision. The project was supported by a team of Kirkuk University students.
