COMHAIRLE CONTAE CHIARRAÍ KERRY COUNTY COUNCIL BÓITHRE A nDÚNADH GO SEALADACH TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS ALT 75 d’ACHT NA mBÓITHRE 1993 SECTION 75 OF ROADS ACT 1993 Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, and the Temporary Closing of Roads Regulations 1994, Kerry County Council is proposing to close the following roads to facilitate the installation of 220kV ducting from Kilpaddoge to Newtown Sands: Roads: L1013 from R551 to the N69 Tarmon Cross, Tarbert, Kerry Road Closing Dates: From 8.00 a.m. on Monday, 6th April to 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 24th April 2020, both dates inclusive. Diversions will be as follows: Traffic travelling to Tarbert, on the R551/L6021 will continue on the R551 to Tarbert, taking a right onto the N69 in Tarbert Village and continue on the N69 to Tarmon Cross. Diversions will be clearly signposted. Traffic travelling from Listowel on the N69 will continue on the N69 to Tarbert, taking a left onto the R551 in Tarbert Village and continue on the R551 towards Ballylongford. Diversions will be clearly signposted. Emergency services and residents will be facilitated throughout the works. Any person having an objection to the above proposal should lodge same, in writing, marked Road Closure, with the Administrative Officer, Roads, Transportation and Marine Department, County Buildings, Tralee, County Kerry or by e-mail to [email protected] not later than 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 16th March 2020. To enable the processing of submissions/ objections Kerry County Council can legally process this information, as necessary, to comply with its statutory/legal obligations. Such information will be processed in line with the Council’s privacy statement which is available at www.kerrycoco.ie.
