Would it bother you if someone promised you somethingand took your money, but gave you nothing in return? Do you think you have ever been hustled without realizing it? What goes through your mind when you see an ad which suggests that a pill can help you lose weight permanentlywithout dieting or exercising? If it doesn't strike you as phony, you don't know the facts. There is no such pill. How about a magazine article which claims that a "dietary supplement" can make you a better athlete, help you live longer, or cure heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and a host of other ailments? If you think any such remedy exists, you had better read this book. Do you take vitaminpills? Has it occurredto you to question whether you really need them? You should. Most of the hundred million or so Americans who take them are merely nourishing their toilets and making vitamin manu facturers rich. But the issue is not simply one of wastedmoney. Each decision you make about your health must be based on an underlyingjudgmentaboutwhom to trust for advice. If you cannottell the differencebetween an expertand a hustler, you are likely to be misled. One of the factors that makes Americagreat is our freedom of speech. To maintain this freedom, we must also run a risk. False prophets can get up on pedestals (such as radio and televisiontalk shows)and tell you almost anything they please. Such prophets abound in the field of nutrition. One reason they succeed is that too many people who know better are afraid to become involved in controversy. The people who wrote this book are involved. Dr. Herbert has attacked nutrition frauds more forcefully than any other person in America. He has testified before legislatorsand in courts. He has spent his own money seeking vii viii Foreword justice. He is one of the mostknowledgeable and respectednutrition scientists in the world-one to whomother experts tum frequentlyfor advice.Dr. Barrett has investigatedand writtenabout quackeryin more and differentfields than any other living American. This is one book you shouldnot ignore. It is one of the most amazing investigativereports in the historyof Americanjournalism. It is likelyto save you money. It can help you protectyour health. It might even save your life! Gabe Mirkin, M.D. Preface One lesson of the Watergatescandal during the Nixon Administrationwas that shady operations involvinglarge sums of money are likely to create a "paper trail'' of incriminatingevidence. The "health food" industry-which has been sellingits bill of goods for morethan a century-is no exception. We regardthis industry as a form of organizedcrime. This book is based on more than twenty years of research. Like the Watergate story, it was inspiredby "defectors"who providedinformation and documents that were not intended for public view. Our relentless investiga tion-aided by a network of reporters and other consumer advocates-has brought the whole seamy picture into focus. The sale of unneeded and sometimesdangerous food supplements is a multibillion-dollarbusiness. Political and intellectual harm are involved as well. This book explores four questions: • How is the health-foodindustry organized? • How do its salespeoplelearn their trade? • How do its salespeoplepersuade the public to believe in false ideas? • Most important, how do they get away with what they are doing? FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION | OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY | FILED 4/14/2021 | OSCAR NO. 601202PUBLIC | PUBLIC UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW JUDGES ________________________________________________ In the Matter of HEALTH RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC, a limited liability company, WHOLE BODY SUPPLEMENTS, LLC, a limited liability company, and DOCKET NO. 9397 KRAMER DUHON, individually and as an officer of HEALTH RESEARCH LABORATORIES, LLC and WHOLE BODY SUPPLEMENTS, LLC. ______________________________________________ COMPLAINT COUNSEL’S OPPOSITION TO RENEWED MOTION TO QUASH Respondents have made their prior counsel, Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP (“Olshan”), central to this matter by blaming consultants engaged at Olshan’s suggestion for Respondents’ admittedly unlawful advertising. Consequently, what those consultants told Respondents before they chose to run their deceptive advertising is crucial to determining the appropriate scope of relief. Yet Respondents refuse to produce their consultants’ work, and their consultants dubiously claim they no longer possess it. As a result, Complaint Counsel had no choice but to seek this important nonprivileged material from Olshan directly. Respondents claim attorney-client privilege, but their blanket assertion that everything Olshan may possess is allegedly “confidential” does not meet their burden. To prove consulting materials are privileged, Respondents must establish that the consultants worked exclusively to help Olshan provide legal advice, or that they are the “functional equivalent” of Respondents’ own employees. Here, neither is true. Accordingly, because Olshan possesses relevant, nonprivileged documents not available elsewhere, Respondents’ motion must be denied.1 1 Complaint Counsel’s March 30 motion to reschedule the evidentiary hearing to permit more time for discovery is pending before the Commission.

Miracle Deliverance Ministry Pat Holliday, PhD., Newsletter April 13, 2018 https://www.miracleinternetchurch.com/ Morgellons Disease Related to Black Magic Rituals? i Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes.[1] With respect to the left-hand path and right-hand path dichotomy, black magic is the malicious, left-hand counterpart of the benevolent white magic. In modern times, some find that the definition of "black magic" has been convoluted by people who define magic or ritualistic practices that they disapprove of as "black magic".[2] The Witchdoctor and the Man: City Under the Sea http://amzn.to/1332Ww4 Radio Program: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/drpatholliday/2017/02/18/climate-manipulation-chemtrailsdr- pat-holidaydr-sabrina-sessionmarshal-perot SHORT LINK: http://tobtr.com/s/10720871 John 8:32,36, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free ... If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” MIND MANIPULATIONS BY ELECTROMETIC BLACK MAGIC like its counterpart white magic, the origins of black magic can be traced to the primitive, ritualistic worship of spirits as outlined in Robert M. Place's 2009 book, Magic and Alchemy.[3] Unlike white magic, in which Place sees parallels with primitive shamanistic efforts to achieve closeness with spiritual beings, the rituals that developed into modern "black magic" were designed to invoke those same spirits to produce beneficial outcomes for the practitioner. Place also provides a broad modern definition of both black and white magic, preferring instead to refer to them as "high magic" (white) and "low magic" (black) based primarily on intentions of the practitioner employing them.

  • Iridology PDF Entire Course
Beginning Iridology Guide Introduction to the Course Welcome to the Herb’n Home Online Iridology Course! I have taught this same course for the past four years to many people including mothers, teachers, alternative practitioners, doctors and nurses. The response has been so overwhelming that many of my students asked me to put this same course online so they could share it with their friends. My goal in doing this is twofold – to make the information itself available to you but also to make myself available to you as well. I have been practicing Iridology professionally for the past four years and have been involved in natural healing for many years. I have found over the years that practitioners have their own unique experience and wisdom and I hope to share what I have learned with you as well as all the “book information”. The following is an outline of the course. The teaching method I use in my online course is to send the student the course one chapter at a time. When they are finished with that chapter they write to me to request the quiz and I send it to them. As you finish each quiz please send it back and I will send you the next chapter. I find that this encourages interaction between the students and myself. It also creates more of a “live” atmosphere for the student. Included in this e-mail are the first two chapters, which I have combined for the first quiz since they are both short chapters. Please read them and when you finish, please write to me to request the quiz.

Chapter 1 What is complementary and alternative medicine? Introduction This chapter provides a definition of CAM and OM and deals with the fundamental criteria at the basis of the CAM healing philosophy. The current usage of CAM and its philosophy sets the scene for the conflicts with OM discussed in later chapters. Definition of Western Medicine For the purpose of the analysis in this thesis CAM needs to be defined. This task requires an understanding of the parameters of OM. As OM is so dominant in most western countries CAM is often, and arguably inappropriately, defined by its relationship to OM. OM, sometimes called western modern medicine, has been defined as ‘medical interventions which are widely taught in modern western medical schools or are generally available at U.S. hospitals, and that which is used by the majority of medical physicians in modern western industrialized countries.’3 Its critics sometimes characterize OM as ‘allopathy.’ Allopathy is a system of healing that counteracts disease by using remedies that produce opposite results from those produced by 3 Andries Kleynhans, ‘The Alternative and Complementary Health Care Perspective’ in Russell G Smith (ed), Health Care, Crime and Regulatory Control (1998) 97.
