Feb. 24, 11:39 a.m., Windsor Street (by the Garment District), a man was robbed at gunpoint. March 1,10:48 a.m., Corner of Harvard St. and Ellery St. (Harvard Square area), two men robbed a resident at knifepoint, taking his wallet. March 8,8:38 p.m., Bigelow Street (Central Square Area), victim reported an armed robbery. March 15,9:32 p.m., Eaton Street (behind Toscanini’s Ice Cream), three suspects showed a knife to a man and stole a bag that contained an Xbox 360, five game cartridges, a laptop, wallet and cell phone from him. March 30,10:22 p.m., Winthrop Street (Harvard Square area), a man was robbed by three suspects.

Assaults Feb. 22, 10:29 a.m., Third Street (by the CambridgeSide Galleria), a Cambridge resident was assaulted. 11:10 a.m., Mass Ave., female suspect spat on victim’s face and clothing and threatened to kill the victim. 1:49 p.m., Third Street (by the CambridgeSide Galleria), victim was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend. March 5, 2:18 a.m., Bennett Street (Harvard area), victim reported being assaulted by his ex- girlfriend. March 12, 2:28 a.m., Mt. Auburn and Dunster St. (Harvard Square), a resident was assaulted by an unknown person. March 17, 7:24 p.m., Harvard Square (the Pit), a man was assaulted by three others complaining of head injuries. March 29, 8:46 a.m., Franklin Street (Central Square), victim was pushed and yelled at by an unknown suspect.

Break-ins Feb. 28, 4:43 p.m., Windsor Street (by the Garment District), resident returned home and finding her back door unlocked but nothing was found missing. 5:51 p.m., a Somerville resident reported his locker broken into while he was working out at a gym in .

March 10, 4:48 p.m., Franklin Street (Central Square), residence was broken into by prying open the apartment door on the second floor and damaging the locking mechanism – a flat screen TV and a laptop computer were stolen. March 13, 5:19 a.m., Mass. Ave (around Harvard Square), a church was broken into but nothing was stolen. March 16, 10:28 a.m., Harvard Street (Central Square), residence was broken into overnight and a cell phone, wallet, and laptop were taken. March 23, 1:30 p.m., Linden Street (Harvard Square), a business was broken into and a picture stolen off of the wall. April 2, 3:46 a.m., Franklin Street (Central Square), suspect attempted to break-in to residence by trying to pull the door open; he fled before he could gain entry.

Larcenies Feb. 21, 2:23 a.m., Bennett Street (Harvard area), a bag was stolen from outside a hotel room. 5:10 p.m., Brattle Street (Harvard Square), four piles of women’s tops stolen from a clothing store. 5:46 p.m., Central Square, a coat, vest, and iPod were stolen from a man at a restaurant. Feb. 22, 8:05 a.m., Albany Street (Central Square), an unknown suspect stole petty cash from an unsecured cabinet. 11:57 a.m., Essex Street (Central Square), prescription medication was stolen from a residence. 2:04 p.m., First Street (by the Galleria), suspect stole money and two credit cards from a locker at a gym. March 11, 4 p.m., Main Street (), business reported an employee created fake materials and then used company checks to make transactions over $25,000. March 15, 4:32 p.m., Franklin Street (Central Square), victim reported a cover stolen from the front of her parked car. 4:42 p.m., Brattle Street (Harvard Square), an unknown suspect attempted to steal two sweaters at a Brattle Street business. March 23, 2:12 p.m., CambridgeSide Galleria, a resident’s dog was taken from the front of the shopping complex. March 27, 2:12 a.m., 96 Winthrop St. (Harvard area), a brown Burberry jacket was stolen from a bar. April 3, 12:37 p.m., Main Street (Kendall Square), an unknown person stole keys to a rental vehicle from the victim’s purse during a church service.

Feb. 21, 1:34 a.m., Kendall Square, a patron of a bar smashed the front plate glass door while he was being escorted out. Feb. 23, 3:33 p.m., CambridgeSide Galleria, a disorderly person was escorted from the mall by security and transported to the hospital for evaluation. March 5, 1:57 a.m., Mt. Auburn Street (Harvard Square), a suspect kicked in the front window of an establishment and fled. March 8, 5:46 p.m., Kendall Square, a business reported a suspicious person hanging around outside a playground. March 19, 2:32 a.m., Harvard Street (Harvard Square), three consecutive gunshots were reported as fired, but police found no ballistic evidence. 3:07 a.m., Putnam Avenue (Harvard Square), one gunshot was reported, but police found no ballistic evidence. April 3, 3:10 p.m., Mt. Auburn (Harvard Square), a car hit a bicyclist and the victim was taken to a hospital with knee injuries. 9:21 p.m., Pine Street (behind Toscanini’s Ice Cream and Miracle of Science), report of one possible gun shot with no substantiating evidence.

Stolen cars March 5, 8:24 a.m., Harvard and Quincy Street (Harvard Square), a motor vehicle was reported stolen. March 24, 11:40 AM, Mt. Auburn Street (Harvard Square), a motor vehicle was stolen. April 2, 3:26 a.m., Brattle and Church Street (Harvard Square), a motor vehicle was stolen.

Car break-ins March 5, 9:49 p.m., Second Street (CambridgeSide Galleria), a car was broken into and a nylon shoulder bag and a bag containing clothing were stolen. March 6, 12:46 p.m., Broadway (around the Garment District), a car was broken into and a GPS unit was removed. March 16, 7:09 a.m., Harvard Street (Harvard Square), a car was broken into overnight. March 18, 5:14 p.m., Windsor Street (by Friendly Toast and the Garment District), a car was broken into overnight and some loose change and two checks were stolen. March 19, 12:17 p.m., Harvard Street (Harvard Square), a car was broken into and items were stolen. March 20, 11:25 a.m., Market Street (by the Garment District), a car was broken into overnight and a GPS unit stolen.

March 21, 1:53 p.m., Hampshire Street (by Friendly Toast), two cars were broken into while parked in a lot. 7:52 p.m., Charles Street (by the CambridgeSide Galleria), a rock was used to smash the passenger side front window of a car and a briefcase containing an iPad, calculator, and personal and business papers, was stolen. March 22, 11:49 a.m., Hampshire Street (by Friendly Toast), a car was broken into while parked in a lot. March 29, 7:29 p.m., CambridgeSide Galleria, a car was broken into while parked and a laptop was stolen. April 2, 3:43 p.m., Albany Street (next to Vassar street), a car was broken into with a window smashed and a set of headphones stolen from the front seat.

Arrests Feb. 23, 12:02 a.m., Bethany Larsen, 24, of 14 Lowell St., Somerville was arrested and charged with drunken driving and negligent operation of motor vehicle after police responded to Avenue at Vassar Street (Near MIT) for a motor vehicle accident. Feb. 24, 12:57 p.m., Jabriel Jacobs, 37, of 100 Harvard St., arrested on charges of assault and battery on Hampshire Street (parallel to Central Square Area) after striking the victim. Feb. 26, 1:49 a.m., Ricardo Garcia, 23, of 41 Playstead Road, Malden was arrested on charges of armed assault to murder after he stabbed a bouncer during a fight at a bar at 96 Winthrop Street (Near Harvard Square Area). When police came onto the scene after responding to a call about the fight, the bouncer at the bar was bleeding from the left side of his chest after trying to break up the fight and was stabbed with a knife. Garcia was in a fight and while being escorted outside of the club, he was “combative” and continued to be uncooperative even when the police came. He was also found in the possession of drugs: two Klonopin pills, a morphine sulfate, and Compazine and was charged with possession of a Class E drug. 7:04 p.m., Gregory Johnson, 44, of 39 Cedar Ave., Somerville was arrested on charges of attempted murder and assault and battery after an assault on River Street (Near Star Market). During a fight, Johnson became enraged and pushed the victim against a wall, strangled her and struck her in the thigh with his foot. Victim said he allegedly strangled her for 30- 45 seconds and struck her in the left thigh with his bare foot. Johnson agreed to surrender and was arrested without incident while the victim declined an emergency restraining order. Feb. 27, 4:12 p.m., Lance Wheeler, 19, of 419 Mass. Ave., was arrested on charges of assault and battery after he and his girlfriend had a verbal dispute. During the dispute Wheeler grabbed his girlfriend and a physically assaulted her at a Cardinal Medeiros Avenue residence (Near the Cambridge Police Station).

March 4, 11:12 p.m., Written Benson, 48, of 44 Parking St., Dorchester arrested on charges of open and gross lewdness after he pulled down his pants and exposed his genitals to a woman inside a hospital on Cambridge Street (parallel to Central Square). At the Cambridge Hospital, he was uncooperative and kept repeatedly pulling down his pants and exposing his genitals to the officers and victims at the Cambridge Hospital. He refused to comply and kept asking if he could use the bathroom. The police finally identified him via an MBTA Charlie card they found on him. March 6, 7:17 p.m., Rakim Lopez, 19, of 364 Rindge Ave. was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and battery, witness intimidation, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder after an incident with his pregnant wife. There was a domestic disturbance where a man allegedly hit a woman with a door, punched her, and choked her. He hit her with two separate doors, would not allow her to leave the fight, and hit her in the stomach knowing she was pregnant. Then proceeded to choke her as well. The victim refused medical treatment or a restraining order and had a small mark under her left eye. March 12, 5:01 p.m., Stacey Kenneally, 30, of 191A North Lowell St., Methuen was arrested on charges of possession of Class A drug after she was observed in a vehicle with a loaded needle of heroin and multiple items of drug paraphernalia on Green Street (near Central Square Area). March 14, 11:47 a.m., Alan McKenzie, 56, of 223 Rindge Ave, was arrested on charges of attempted murder and assault and battery. A female alleged that strangled her for approximately 30 seconds and also punched and head butted her. March 20, 2:41 a.m., Barrington Henry, 31 and Tyler Barnes, 20, both of 39 Hayes St., Isaac Braxton, 26, of 45 Hayes St., Boston and Randall Neves, 37, of 27 Lee St. were arrested on charges of carrying a loaded firearm without a license, firearm or ammunition without FID card, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying an open alcohol container, and were cited for an equipment violation after a motor vehicle stop on Columbia at Worcester Street (near Central Square Area). Police tried to pull the car over with the right front headlight not working and as the car finally stopped, he smelled a “strong odor of burnt marijuana” coming from inside. After further inspection of the car and the men inside, the police found a bag containing marijuana, a small knife, a silver Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum gun, and two other guns as well. A plastic bag containing 11 rounds of .38-caliber ammunition was found, and furthermore, the car revealed additional drugs and ammunitions – one Appleton Estate rum bottle with green leafy substance inside, two small bats, one pair of handcuffs, two small white masks, two bottles of Hennessy, one empty Beck’s beer bottle, one Jose Cuervo bottle, one iPhone, one Blackberry, one GPS unit, and some more. All this was logged and placed in a locker as the men were arrested. March 23, 1:58 a.m., Ninoska Hopkins, 30, of 18 Barnard Hawkes Court, Marblehead was arrested and charged with drunk driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, improper turn and marked lanes violation after police saw the car take a left turn from Prospect Street onto

Massachusetts Avenue (near Central Square Area) at a high rate of speed and in violation of posted signs. 1:23 p.m., Steven Silva, 17, of 812 Memorial Drive was arrested on charges of possession to distribute a Class D drug after seen trying to enter a Ware Street (near Harvard Square Area) apartment via a basement window apartment. 6:27 p.m., Elizabeth Bushman, 46, of 39 Boylston St., Boston was arrested at a Massachusetts Avenue restaurant on charges of open and gross lewdness after witnesses said that they saw her pull her pants down and urinate on the restaurant floor. March 26, 2:31a.m., John Arnold, 31, of 41 Philips St., Arlington was arrested on charges of drunk driving after stop on Galileo Galilei Way (near Kendall Square Area). 11:08 a.m., Paul King, 48, of 240 Albany St. was arrested on charges of assault and battery on Cambridge St. (near Central Square Area). April 1, 12:52 p.m., Walita Funches, 29, of 1234 , Brighton was arrested on charges of utter false check, forgery of check, receiving stolen property, refuse to produce license, operating after suspension of license and possession of a Class B substance after she passed a stolen check that had her name on it at a Central Square bank and then fled in a car. When stopped by police she was found in possession of a Class B drug and other drug paraphernalia. April 2, 1:50 a.m., William Pendergast, 37, of 14 Reservoir Circle, Canton was arrested on charges of drunk driving after police responded to a three-car accident on Cambridge Street (near Central Square Area). April 3, 9:30 p.m., Karl Maurice, 36, of 218 Broadway St., Arlington and Endalew Kahssay, 27, of 6 Albemarle St., Boston were arrested after an investigation lead to police recovering more than 36 grams of cocaine within 1000 feet of the Fletcher Maynard School (on Windsor Street near Central Square Area).
