During the inspection & review meeting, Shri Deepak Kumar Hota, CMD, BEML Limited, Shri Aniruddh Kumar, Advisor (Rail & Metro) & his team were present DETAILS OF LAND AND PROPERTY ACQUISITION FOR GOVERNMENT & PRIVATE PROPERTIES PHASE-II REACH-1 Extension—(Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield-15.50 KM) Compensation package in respect of 266 properties amounting to ₹ 979.59 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB. SLAO has made payment in respect of 218 properties amounting to ₹ 854.94 Crores. In respect of Electric Utility Shifting of 52 properties, package in respect of 47 properties have been sent to SLAO. Building valuation report in respect of 5 properties is awaited from the Engineering section. In respect of 39 properties required for Electrical Utilities (additional) and additional lands from Indian Tin Industry to Whitefield, Land Committee has given the land valuation report. Building valuation report is awaited from the Engineering section. Out of 34 Properties measuring 5368.54 sq meters required for viaduct between Jyothipura station and K.R. Puram station, packages in respect of 31 properties have been sent to Accounts section for verification. Building Valuation Report in respect of 3 properties is awaited from the Engineering section. Packages in respect of 8 properties measuring 312.48 Sq meters required for shifting of Electrical towers has been sent to SLAO, KIADB. 28(1) notification for lands between Baiyappanahalli and Jyothipura is sent to SLAO for Government approval. 28(1) notification for B. Narayanapura Survey No. 75 to an extent 2925.75 sq, mtrs. has been sent to Government press for publication. Packages in respect of 42 properties required for viaduct from Tin Factory to K.R. Puram station (Vijinapura Village) has been sent to Accounts section for verification. REACH-2 Extension—(Mysuru Road Station to Kengeri-6.50 KM) Compensation packages for 84 properties amounting to ₹ 186.06 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB and payment is made in respect of 84 properties amounting to ₹ 178.86 Crores. 28(4) notification in respect of 8 additional properties measuring 463.09 sq. mtrs. is sent to Government on 15.12.2017 for approval. 28(4) notification of 4 properties measuring 327.04 sq. mtrs. is sent to Spl. Deputy Commissioner on 18.12.2017. 28(4) notification of 9 properties is sent to Spl. Deputy Commissioner, KIADB measuring 62481.36 sq. mtrs. on 29.12.2017. Draft 28(1) notification of 21 additional properties pertaining to Challaghatta Depot. Measuring 49633.41 Sq. mtrs. is sent to SLAO, KIADB on 28.12.2017. REACH-3C Extension—(Nagasandra to Bangalore International Exhibition Centre-3.00 KM) Compensation packages in respect of 62 properties amounting to ₹ 99.11 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB. Payment has been made in respect of 49 properties amounting to ₹ 83.66 Crores. BIEC Station and Electrical Utility Shifting: 28(4) Notification is pending with the Government. DETAILS OF LAND AND PROPERTY ACQUISITION FOR GOVERNMENT & PRIVATE PROPERTIES REACH-4B Extension—(Yelachenahalli Cross to Anjanapura Township-6.50 KM) Compensation packages for 287 properties amounting to ₹ 308.85 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB and payment has been made in respect of 282 properties amounting to ₹ 303.42 Crores. Land plan for Anjanapura Depot is being revised by Chief Engineer (P&D) and action being taken to acquire the land. 28(4) Notification for additional area of 1005.21 sq. mtrs. is published in Karnataka Gazette on 26.10.2017 and action will be taken to get the land valuation of the properties from the Land Committee is received, same will be placed to the screening committee for approval. Draft 28(4) Notification for 1 property measuring 112.53 sq. mtrs. is sent to Government for approval. 28(1) notification for 1357.34 sq. mtrs. additional 6 properties is submitted to Spl. Deputy Commissioner for approval on 18.12.2017. REACH-5 New Line-(R.V. Road to Bommasandra-18.50 KM) Out of total 545 properties acquired, compensation packages for 523 properties amounting to ₹ 1420.23 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB and payment has been made in respect of 362 properties amounting to ₹ 1031.76 Crores. Notification u/s 28(4) in respect of 72 properties required for electric utility shifting is sent to Government for approval. 28(4) Notification in respect of additional properties required for Jayadeva Station is sent to Government Press for publications. JMC is under progress for 94 properties required for Silk Board Station, Subways, Ramp, Loops and Viaduct in RV Road to Bommasandra stretch is sent to ADLR for approval / attestation. REACH-6 New Line-(Gottigere (IIMB) to Nagawara-22.00 KM) Out of 251 properties, compensation packages in respect of 173 properties amounting to ₹ 404.26 Crores have been sent to SLAO, KIADB for payment. Payment has been made in respect of 72 properties amounting to ₹ 190.82 Crores. Kothnur Depot – enquiry u/s 28(3) is completed by SLAO. 28(4) notification is being sent to Government in respect of 57 properties to an extend of 91,809 Sq. mtrs. 28(4) notification in respect of additional lands required for viaduct an extent of 1579.00 sq. mtrs. for 59 properties. 28(1) Notifications in respect of additional lands required for Ramp etc., as per revised land plan sent to the Government for approval of 43 properties to an extend of 4,797.19 Sq mtrs. Notification u/s 28(4) of 30 properties to an extent of 606.50 sq. mtrs. to viaduct lands required for Electric Utility Shifting have been published in Gazette on 09.11.2017. JMC is completed for Six Metro Stations i.e. (1) Dairy Circle (2) MICO (3) Langford (4) Vellara (5) M.G. Road (6) Shivajinagar and 28(4) notifications is sent to Government for publication of 80 properties to an extent of 16673.35 Sq. mtrs. JMC is completed for 6 Underground Stations i.e. (1) Cantonment (2) Pottery Town (3) Tannery Road and (4) Venkateshapura (5) Arabic College (6) Nagawara. 28(1) notification will be sent after sketches issued by survey supervisor. REACH WISE PROGRESS OF PHASE-2 REACH-1Extension:- Construction of Elevated Structures (Viaduct) of length of 15.50 Kms. (approx.) consisting of 13 No of Stations from Baiyappanahalli dead end to Whitefield station dead end viz. Jyothipura Stn., K R Puram Stn., Mahadevapura Stn., Garudacharpalya Stn., Doddana Kundi Industrial Area Stn., Visvesvaraya Industrial Area Stn., Kundahalli Stn., Vaidhei Hospital Stn., Satyasai Medicals Stn., ITPL Terminal Stn., Kaadugodi Stn., Ujwala Vidyalaya Stn. & Whitefield Stn. in the extension on East side of East-West Corridor on Bangalore Metro Rail Project, Phase – 2 Name of the Contractor :- M/s ITD Cementation India Limited (JV) Two Packages (P1 & P2) Progress of Package –1A (Reach-1A):- Land Acquisition:- Baiyappanahalli to Mahadevapura: Abutment to Jyothipura alignment to be finalized. Jyothipura to KR Puram 33 Valuation Reports has been sent to Land Department for verification. Mahadevapura to Satya Sai Hospital: Valuation of Properties and final notification has been completed. Property wise compensation proposals are submitted to KIADB for disbursement to land owners are in progress. Satya Sai Hospital to Whitefield: Valuation of Properties completed and final notification has been completed. Property wise compensation proposals are submitted to KIADB. Disbursement to land owners is in progress. BESCOM Utilities: 80 numbers have been identified for shifting of BESCOM utilities such as RMU’s and Transformers. 28/4 Notification has been issued. 23 properties has been de-notified and Compound wall of 30 Nos (Valuation is sent to Land section). Open land 27 Nos are identified. Demolition of Buildings / Structures Identified for Acquisition:- The contract for demolition of structures have already been awarded to M/S B.R.

Among the recent incidents that have witnessed the involvement of the Indian Navy are the oxygen crisis faced by the country due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and the cyclone. When there was a shortage of oxygen needed for treatment of COVID-19 patients Regional Representatives in several hospitals, the Indian Navy deployed ships to the Middle East and Singapore to bring liquid oxygen, cryogenic oxygen tanks, oxygen concentrators and oxygen Berlin, Germany cylinders under Operation Samudra Setu II.
