v i e c e e r FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK Here we are, 13 months into the COVID pandemic and although nothing seems the "same", what hasn't changed over the course of these precarious months, is the need to be flexible and adaptable. As you know, last week, the clergy of the Diocese gathered for our annual Spring Conference. Our guest speaker, Dr. John Bergsma from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, was set to be with us in person as all of our safety precautions were in place. Dr. Bergsma, a former Protestant pastor, now is a Professor of Theology, teaches Scripture, and has authored over a dozen books. Unfortunately, he had to present virtually due to COVID but overall, it still turned out well and, once again, we learned that God's grace and fulfillment can still reign through the challenges. I encourage you each to continue to seek God's guidance in handling the pandemic, pray for patience, and let's all do our part to support one another. Coming up over the next couple of weekends (April 24/25 and May 01/02) we will celebrate First Communion at our weekend Masses and then the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 05 & 12 in the evenings. It is an exciting time and let us keep these children and young adults in our prayers. Additionally, my gratitude to all the faith formation and confirmation leaders for their work in preparing them. Lastly, we have a need for Adorers for the 5:00, 5:30, 6:00 & 6:30 p.m. timeslots. Perhaps your schedule will allow you to make a commitment? Thank you, in advance. Have a great week! Msgr. Patrick A. Schumacher

GOD'S SHARE 2021

The Annual God's Share Appeal which supports the work of the in western North Dakota, will be conducted in every parish in two weeks. The God's Share Appeal is not just another Sunday collection. It is a unified effort in which all Catholics of the Diocese of Bismarck join together to further the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church in western North Dakota. It is an opportunity to voluntarily support the work of the larger Church by re- turning a portion of what God has given to us through a pledge to the God's Share Appeal. In the next two weeks, you will be receiving a letter, brochure and pledge envelope from Bishop Kagan. Please take the time to prayerfully consider what you are able to give in support of this important ministry.

LITURGICAL MINISTRY Please review the schedule below and contact the office to let us know if you are willing and able to serve as a minister next weekend. If you are not scheduled but would be willing to help, call Tracy at 701-255-4600.
