City of Lakes Loppet Cross Country Festival: The 2011 Loppet comes Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6. More than great ski events – the Loppet is a festival for the whole family. A snow sculpture contest, the Skijoring National Championships, ice bike racing, expanded sprints and, of course, the Luminary Loppet.
