BDO MENS & WOMENS INVITATION TABLES SYSTEM & STRUCTURE

1. The BDO Invitation Tables Structure only relates to currently registered Playing Members of the British Darts Organisation, who are normally resident within Great Britain, or to current Playing Members of a Member Darts Body of the , who are normally resident within the Country represented by that Member Darts Body.

2. To qualify for the BDO Invitation Tables System players must play within the BDO/WDF system.

3. The BDO Invitation Tables System is used as a Basis for qualification, invitation, and/or seeding in BDO promoted International events, such as the World Professional Championships and the World Masters.

The tables will also be used for invitations into other events when deemed necessary.

4. WDF World/Europe/Asia-Pacific/Americas Cup Individual points are only allocated within the Invitation Tables System during the period in which the respective event occurs.

All points obtained in any other event shall be held for a period of twelve months unless that event is staged again during that period.

5. When a player has obtained points in more than ten events, only the best ten sets of points are included in the player’s total.

6. Points are only awarded to players winning at least one match in any respective event, unless specified otherwise.

7. Seeded players losing their first match in the stage final of the Winmau World Masters shall only receive 66% of the points allocated to joint ninth position

8. Points are only gained within the Invitation Tables System, if the BDO/WDF Playing Rules are adhered to, which includes the use of equipment, etc..

This note also applies to those events played outside Britain.

8. Any player under ‘suspension’ as a result of Disciplinary Action imposed by his/her parent National Darts Body shall forfeit the right to be awarded any Invitation Table Points, or to receive any other award due from obtaining a placing in the BDO Invitation Tables System.

10. Any player that fails to comply with the BDO and WDF Eligibility Rules shall not be included in the BDO Invitation Tables System.

11. Events may not be considered for inclusion within this Invitation Tables System if they are played on dates which coincide with BDO scheduled events.

12. The Invitation Tables will be maintained and published on the BDO website – updates will be made after each BDO recognised event has been played and the results declared.

13. The following statement must be included on all entry forms issued by the organisers of the events recognised and listed in these Tables;

“This is a BDO Invitation Table event and is only open to players who are eligible to play in the Winmau World Masters Championships and the Lakeside World Professional Championships.”

14. The BDO Invitation Tables System Criteria is subject to annual revue, but the Board of Directors reserve the right to add to, delete from, and amend the System as deemed necessary.
