Just two years later, in a separate study published in 2012, the number catapulted to 2,500 individuals on LinkedIn claiming qualifications from the same institution (Ezell and Bear, 2012). In 2015, in a third study, the number increased again to 4,000 individuals listing credentials from Almeda University (Neifer, 2015).
