32 Fremantle Football Club Year Book 2005 Shane Parker

Shane Parker 200 Games In round 16, 2005 on the hallowed turf of the MCG Shane Parker etched his name in history as the first player to play 200 games for the club. His opportunity to play at the elite level came with the formation of the Fremantle Football Club and from humble beginnings he has forged an impressive career spanning eleven seasons and 206 games to be Fremantle’s games record holder. It’s no coincidence that Fremantle’s first win in the AFL coincided with Parker’s debut in round 3, 1995 against Fitzroy at the Western Oval. A model of consistency in the heart of Fremantle’s defence he is a well liked and respected senior member of the playing group.
