Science Techno For the past 3 weeks, Year 8 students have been working on their Science Techno projects and these were displayed and judged last Monday. All students did a fantastic job in choosing incredibly diverse and interesting topics and producing amazing displays. They researched the science behind their item or process, the history of its development and the impact it has had on society. Year 7, 10 and 11 students helped to judge these displays and spoke to the students who explained their topic. Science staff members also had some input into the judging effort. Six groups will showcase their display at a college finals day on Friday 31 August. On this day, Year 8 finalists from Manly, Cromer, Mackellar Girls’ and Balgowlah Boys’ Campuses will set up their displays here at Manly and will be judged by guests from the college as well as invited community groups and universities.
