Great for What It Is -- Actual Sketchbooks, Not a Lot of Finished ArtBy Jimmy HanzoWhen you usually buy an artist's "sketchbooks" -- guys like Arthur Adams, Frank Cho, Mark Schultz -- you're actually getting reproductions of finished art for commissions, covers, design work, etc. This book is a bit different -- most of the work included are very rough sketches, making this an actual sketchbook!I'm a bit disappointed but know that the blame lies with me -- the word "sketchbooks" is in the actual title. That said, if you like seeing actual sketches and the process an artist uses to create layouts, design characters, etc. then this book is absolutely terrific.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
