INTRODUCTION

Yes, not long ago, I was a mortgage broker with a sofa couch in my o!ce in case I needed to work long hours into the night. And today, I have the equivalent of an automated money making machine, churning out my income 24 hours a day.

My success is based on that famous piece of marketing advice: instead of buying a goldmine, why not sell the equipment to dig for gold? In other words, why spend thousands upon thousands of dollars buying tra!c when you can supply the platform, so advertisers are paying you to promote their o"ers. That’s right! I said, pay YOU!

I will provide you with the tools you need so you can create your first Android application to publish on Google Play. This will give you a platform ready for advertisers to promote their targeted products – and pay you handsomely in the process. How awesome is that?

Once I discovered this strategy, I wanted to share my knowledge through this “killer” android app eBook. After extensive research, I noticed that while there are dozens of books about business app makers and IOS (Apple) app products, even expensive IOS and Android game reskin o"ers, I am yet to find one Android money making application product that provides a step by step breakdown of how to make the application quickly and cheaply and how to make money with the apps you build.

This eBook is truly a game changer in the world of Android app development. You will learn the ins and outs of creating an Android application, even without any background experience as a developer. Yes, a 15 year old kid can follow these steps and create an application quickly and easily – and SO CAN YOU.

STEP 1: HOW TO COME UP WITH GREAT IDEAS FOR YOUR APP

9 Invisible App Machine STEP 1: HOW TO COME UP WITH GREAT IDEAS FOR YOUR APP

Before we start talking about how to create an app and market it, let’s start with the obvious challenge – what kind of app do you want to make? I recommend starting simple, learning the technique and building your team before you start working on complicated apps. So let’s look at some simple apps to start you o" as an appaneur.

START SIMPLE You might have big ideas about complicated games with brilliant graphics – save those ideas for when you have some experience in creating and marketing your apps. For your first application, I will show you how to create and publish simple informational and utility apps. For now, we will focus on informational/ simple wallpapers (gifs, original jpeg design or animation) and utility (flashlights, clocks etc) until you get into your comfort zone and have published a few apps.

Keep in mind that the easiest applications to make are WALLPAPERS, CONVERTED EBOOKS (INFORMATIONAL PRODUCTS) AND TRIVIA GAMES.

HOW I STARTED When I was first thrown into the world of Google app marketing and developing, I was advised to create my first application based on my field of expertise, and to go from there. At the time, I was in the weight loss niche, selling weight loss supplements via the internet as a “free trial” o"er – that means, we deliver a product for a while, and then hit their credit card a little later. I decided to turn one of my weight loss eBooks into an application. For the sake of a class tutorial, I will use this as my starting point to guide you through publishing your first application.

This first application took me almost four months to create and publish as I was fending for myself and trying to comprehend how it all worked. (SCREEN SHOTS BELOW OF MY FIRST CRAPPY WEIGHT LOSS EBOOK OF COVER AND A RANDOM PAGE) Then it took me almost two weeks to publish the app, as I had little knowledge of how to install a file that Google allows. Once it finally did publish, I did almost 35 thousand installs within Google and over 20 thousand

11 Invisible App Machine installs outside of Google! Not bad, considering it was a half ass app that looked very unprofessional. I have since given it a facelift, and it continues to do well on Google Play to this day. Luckily for you, my “killer” guide cuts through all the red tape and speeds the process up for you in a few very easy steps.

12 How to come up with great ideas for your app

DO YOUR HOMEWORK How do you work out what app you want to create? It sounds simple, but doing your homework is the most important part of this process. Before I decide to make a new application, I look at what apps are doing well, so I can decide what targeted application to publish next. This is certainly not an exact science – it is a trial and error process like anything else.

You will not get rich by publishing one application. It’s a numbers game. Only a handful of developers have made small fortunes by creating one application which starts raking in 6 or 7 figures. I follow a far more realistic strategy by publishing dozens of apps that I have published because there is power in numbers. The more apps you make, the more money comes in from each app. The more apps you make, the more you build up your knowledge and confidence about how to make apps and how to predict what will sell the best. When I started out, I was making one app a month, and now I’m making two apps a day. The first app is always the hardest to develop.

Of course, some of you want to make applications for your own business or you want to make an app based on someone else’s business concept, so you are not concerned about building applications to earn money from advertising dollars. Your homework is simply to find the best solutions for your business.

If you want to make applications for the sole purpose of making money based on popular themes then your homework assignment is not over yet.

IOS VS ANDROID You might wonder why we are talking about Android when IOS/Apple applications are the big kids on the block in terms of creating and publishing profitable applications. Three or four years ago, you could have made serious money if you had taken advantage of their platform when they still made it easy to upload an application.

Today, you can wait up to a month for your first IOS application approval. Compare this to Android application approval which only takes 15 to 20 minutes.

This is why this application tutorial is specifically about Android applications and nothing else. When you use this platform correctly, with a little patience, you will find it is a very profitable experience for you.

13 Invisible App Machine

Think of applications like mini investment properties. You look after your investment by making sure the apps all work without any hitches or glitches, just the way you make sure everything is repaired and comfortable in an investment property. But only one person can rent your investment property at one time, while your apps will appreciate in value as they gain more users. And the more users you have, the more advertising power you build… and the more money you make. It’s very simple!

My expertise is in Google app development. You will find “Jack of all Trades” marketers and developers who claim to be experts in both Google and IOS, but they are two completely di"erent platforms and need to be treated di"erently. Just the way you don’t want an electrician to teach you plumbing, you don’t want an IOS expert teaching you about Google.

Personally, I’m not comfortable talking about the scope of IOS as I am yet to make one penny of income from that platform, even though I have made a really good income making Android applications – enough to quit my 9 to 5 mortgage job, buy a house and even purchase a Lexus 350. Now that things are good for me, it is my turn to share these easy profit-making strategies with you.

PLEASE NOTE FOR IN THIS BOOK I WILL BE REFERRING TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS I MADE THROUGHOUT THE PAST 4 YEARS OR SO.

WHAT THE GLOBAL MARKET IS TELLING YOU If you need further evidence, look online for all the recent news articles about how Android is taking over the market and has doubled the number of users on its platform, which basically compounds yearly.

So why swim against the stream, dealing with the issue of complicated approval through IOS, when you can take the easier, stress-free Android route? The money is waiting for you. You just have to grab it. They are looking for you too!

14 How to come up with great ideas for your app

Both Google and the Android market are begging for more developers to create applications for the multi-billion user base that are hungry for really good new applications. The Second World and Third World economies are opening up and buying mobile phones than ever before – but they are not buying iPhones! They can’t a"ord iPhones. An Apple iPhone is equivalent to almost a year’s salary of a Third World smart phone user. At the same time, there are more than

2500 Android phones to choose from, and the price is right for Third World users. In 2013, it was calculated that there were over 1.2 million new Android users every day.

This is simple economics, folks – Android phone manufactuers are doing the hard work for you, providing phones to billions of new users, so now all you have to do is supply the application inventory. You had me at Hello!!

I will show you how to create your first Android application easily, and so you completely understand what you are doing every step of the way. I did all the hard work for you, learning how to create applications basically on my own with absolutely no help. Now you can just follow my lead like the Pied Piper, and you will make a killing in the Android market place.

15 Invisible App Machine

LET’S LOOK AT SOME APPS! These applications are not expensive or complicated like that of game apps.

Take a look at this example below

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.punchwolf.android. scawar&hl=en

This is a half-decent Space Invader type of game with somewhere at around 35,000 installs. Sounds great, right? Well let’s take a closer look. This game probably took around 3 to 4 months to develop at a cost of about $7,000 to $9,000. That’s what you call making apps at a loss. There is no doubt in my mind that this developer has not made a dollar in profit from this application, and the fact that there are no other applications under their developer account suggests just that.

This developer made the Number 1 cardinal sin of Android app developing. They made a game application without doing any research. Game apps have become really innovative, and this developer was way behind the 8 ball as far as I am concerned.

Now take a look at this Rollercoaster application: (I will not show any Google Play links on the risk of Google Shutting down current and active applications)

This is a wallpaper application I created about six months ago. You know how much it cost me to develop? About $200... You know how much I made so far on this application? So far, I’ve made about $25,000.

This simple wallpaper of a goldfish has generated me almost 250 times my investment so far and the income is still growing. You see, this cash-making app is on automatic pilot mode with money coming in every day.

This wallpaper below: GOLDFISH IN YOUR PHONE—That was taken down in Google last year… generated… over $65000 in revenue! You know how much this cost me for the image?... Thats right… NOTHING.

(I will show you a link I did upload this application to below—It generated over 250,000 installs outside of Google Play)

16 How to come up with great ideas for your app

http://gallery.mobile9.com/f/3328479/

When you think it costs over $200,000 for the university education to become a doctor or lawyer, how many doctors and lawyers can tell you that their business model can earn 600 times the original investment?

Why spend thousands of dollars making applications for an overly saturated game market when you can make the same amount of money with a fraction of the investment of time and money, making informational/wallpapers/utility applications and more?

I am not discouraging you from the game market – this is certainly a great option further down the road – but in the beginning, when you are still learning

17 Invisible App Machine and don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on app creation, then this is the perfect solution. And gradually as you build up your experience in the app world, you will learn what works and what doesn’t work.

So let’s get started, teaching you the ninja-like strategies and “killer” tips to become an android marketing master even without any developer experience, any design experience or even without a big budget to start building. This is true niche marketing 101, showing you how to make a ton of money in an industry that is growing at a faster rate than any other area of the mobile market. There are simply not enough android developers to build the applications for a rapidly increasing user base. It’s an understa"ed area of the market, waiting for you to become involved.

This killer tool guide will teach you how you can easily create and publish your first application.

SUMMING UP STEP 1 So now you already know your first app is going to be a simple Android application, such as a wallpaper or a utility. Keep in mind that the easiest applications to make are wallpapers, converted eBooks (informational products) and trivia games.

It doesn’t matter that it is simple, or that it may take you quite a while to work through the creation process because this will be your first app – your first of many, hopefully!

Ready for Step 2?

20 Setting up your Google Play account

STEP 2: SETTING UP YOUR GOOGLE PLAY ACCOUNT

21 Invisible App Machine STEP 2: SETTING UP YOUR GOOGLE PLAY ACCOUNT

You will need a Google Play account to create your app. This is about the easiest step in the process of getting your first application published!

OPEN A DEVELOPER ACCOUNT ON GOOGLE PLAY

Once you have an idea as to what application you would like to create, sign up through this link:

https://play.google.com/apps/publish/signup/

I would suggest signing up through CHROME as this process along with the use of the Google Play developer account works best when uploading and maintaining your apps.

Follow the prompts which are fairly self-explanatory. (If you have need guidance setting up the account, then app publication is not for you.)

22 Setting up your Google Play account

If possible, set this account up in an LLC to avoid any liability issues. This is certainly not a requirement and while you are just “playing” and learning, it’s fine to set up your first account as a personal account. However, once you are more established, an LLC account would be a very good idea.

Setting up the account will require a one-time payment of $25 to Google in the amount. Once you pay this fee, you will never be charged for any other Google Play developer fees from this point. It’s a far better deal than the annual $99 I pay to IOS/APPLE for use of their developer account. The funny part is that I developed around five applications for IOS and spent well over $2,000 making the apps – yet only one app has been approved! Yes, one app! Not only that, I am yet to make one penny from that one application – another reason my Android application development is a no brainer.

Once you complete this very simple process, you will receive an email notification from Google Play saying that you have been approved - and you are in business, ready to upload your first application. This approval can take anywhere from 18 to 96 hours depending on whether Google needs any further information from you. I am yet to see a new developer denied approval, unless of course they had previous issues with Google Play in the past. Google Play will welcome your business so don’t worry!

SUMMING UP STEP 2 Pay a one-o" $25 fee to set up your Google Play account through Chrome either as a personal account or preferably as an LLC account to avoid liability issues. Once you receive your approval confirmation from Google you are ready to go. Now you need to start setting up your team of experts to help you with the rest of the process!

Once you receive the Google Play developer account approval in your email, the fun begins. If you already have an idea or some sense of direction about what type of application you would like to create, it’s time to find a developer.

24 Hiring the right people to make your apps

STEP 3: HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO MAKE YOUR APPS

25 Invisible App Machine STEP 3: HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO MAKE YOUR APPS If you’ve been secretly worried about how you are going to single-handedly create your own app with no previous experience – stop worrying.

IF YOU’RE NOT AN EXPERT, FIND SOMEONE WHO IS Some years ago at an internet seminar while I was still getting into the weight loss niche, I received a great piece of information: “If you’re not an expert in something, farm it out to someone who is!” Such a simple statement, but so damn true. Theoretically, I could have taken developer coding classes and or online courses to teach me how to make an application, but where is the fun in that?! Meanwhile, app developers see everything in code, so they are like zombies when it comes to about marketing and promoting an app.

They always say the three most important numbers in your phone are your accountant, your mechanic and your doctor. This is also true in the app development arena as well – the three most important business counterparts who will help your business grow into a serious app juggernaut, are your developer, your designer and personal VA.

Right now, I have five people work for me full-time, although I have never met them in person as they are scattered across the globe. If you’re wondering how to pay salaries for five full-time people, I pay them pennies on the dollar. Instead of dishing out hundreds of thousands of dollars in salaries here in a local level, I manage to direct 95% of my Android profits back to you know who!!

My weakest ability is coding and app development. I have zero knowledge in the use of any of the tools needed to actually make an app, like ECLIPSE, HTML5...etc. My strength is Android application marketing and application promotion.

First you need a developer, so I will walk you through the process of finding your own developer, and you will see the same process can be used to find your designer and VA.

26 Hiring the right people to make your apps

HIRING EXPERTS ONLINE You can initiate the process of finding a good developer via these 3 sites: (there are some others but these are the best as far as I am concerned)

www.elance.com www.upwork.com www.freelancer.com

For designers, I recommend fiverr.com. As the name suggests, contractors on Fiverr.com advertise what they are prepared to do for the cost of five dollars.

If you have already looked ahead to the Bonus section provided, you will see that in most cases you can simply find a designer on Fiverr.com who will do all the necessary design work for your app for five bucks.

27 Invisible App Machine

Depending on the type of design – whether it’s for the skin of the application itself, for promotion purposes or even both – in most cases I stick to the rule of spending less on design than on the functionality of the application itself. I have used Fiverr.com countless times for the most reasonably priced design work starting at $5 and in most cases, I was more impressed with the design work I received than when I have spent more than ten or twenty times that amount on other platforms. Think of it as bargain shopping, when you go through the discount racks and finally strike gold when you find a really good designer product.

SEE EXAMPLE OF DESIGN WORK FOR AN APP FOR “GOLDFISH IN YOUR PHONE LWP” (CATCHY ICONS AND DESIGN HELPED ME GET OVER 2.5 MILLION INSTALLS)

If you are prepared to spend a few more dollars and don’t want to waste any time, then your best bet is to find your designer at elance.com or odesk.com. In most cases when I place an order for design, it takes around 2 days or so to get it back to me.

28 Hiring the right people to make your apps

Again let me reiterate, I am not a designer, or a developer of applications. I am simply a marketer that takes all of these di"erent pieces of the Android puzzle and turn them into a money making machine. All my friends joke that I know next to nothing about electronics or computers. We are fortunate to live in a time and place where everything can be done for you at the right price. It’s just a matter of taking that first step into the unknown.

HIRING WITH ELANCE Whichever site you choose to search for your experts, you need to start by creating an account. We need to hire the developer first, and I suggest starting with Odesk/ Elance. I will walk you through a full new sample application I am working on so you can see the process of me hiring a developer to posting onto Google Play from start to finish...

So let’s go with Elance — and go through a full description of a sample application request posting:

HIRE Simply go to the section titled: “HIRE”. Once you click here, you will see a drop down box of options. The easiest way to do this is choose “POST A JOB”.

29 Invisible App Machine

I say this as it is always better for them to fight over your job rather than you reach out and try to find the right developer by going to “SEARCH” and other labels that take you away from the driver seat. Remember, these developers are fighting for your business, and not the other way around. This is a hidden psychological trigger option that is a must.

NAME YOUR JOB “Android developer needed for flashlight and clock wallpaper application”

This is the most important section as you want to be precise and to the point when filling this out so that the developer completely understands what you are trying to do and you are not wasting your time by searching for the wrong people. I learnt the hard way as I found developers who were only proficient in IOS when I needed help in ANDROID.

As I stated for this example I am going to post a job for an application I am working on. The application I am going to do is a clock theme/flashlight application. A simple utility app that utilizes your smart phone internal time clock and flash feature. All I am doing is simply personalizing this application and giving it a cool theme for people to install. I am not re-inventing the wheel here.

DESCRIBE THE JOB “Looking for an Android developer who can help me create an all in one utility application that will give the user the ability to utilize their clock and flashlight application as a wallpaper. The user should be able to retrieve this application from their “LIVE WALLPAPER” settings of their smart phone. I will supply the design work in psd format so that you can simply take this art work, and configure this into the utility app. This should be an easy job request to do. Once I supply the design work I am assuming you can get this done in 2 weeks or less! When completed, and confirmed it’s all hooked up correctly and working without a hitch, I will have many more Android app jobs for you to do as well! It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide a small sample of your work, so that I can verify that you have a good idea of the type of application I am trying to do.”

This description was short and to the point. The main objective was to weed out the developers who have no idea how to make a utility application, or any developers that can’t provide some sort of application resume of apps they have done in the past. This is a must when choosing the right developer. The

30 Hiring the right people to make your apps most important part of my message was the “INCENTIVE”. They do a good job, you send them more jobs. This is huge for these developers who strive for good reviews and repeat business. You are in complete control right now.

SELECT THE CATEGORY OF WORK When the drop-down option is shown, choose the following:

“IT & PROGRAMMING”

Then another drop-down option appears to the right of this. Choose:

“MOBILE APPLICATIONS”

REQUEST SPECIFIC SKILLS OR GROUPS This is optional although I recommend adding this to ensure you find the right specific developer. For almost all of my applications, I always choose the following: ΄ 3d animation ΄ Android ΄ Eclipse ΄ HTML5

These are the minimum characteristics you would be looking for when trying to find a half decent developer. These options cover the very basis Android code requirements that every developer will know how to use.

SET WORK ARRANGEMENT Always choose “FIXED PRICE” and “LESS THAN $500”

I can give a dissertation in why you need to choose this payment structure rather than an hourly arrangement. Developers know they can take advantage of an hourly arrangement and suck you dry. This way, you can confirm a set price for a very easy job right at the beginning. To date, 99.2% of all my applications were created under $500, even $250 for that matter. Unless you are working on a game or high functionality application with a lot of features, there is no need to spend more than a few hundred dollars.

31 Invisible App Machine

From this point you simply press “CONTINUE”

REVIEW AND POST Do not fall for the “FEATURE MY AD” stu" as you don’t want to pay for more responses than you need. Simply press “NO THANKS” and move onto the next screen.

Now review your post to check it looks ready to publish and then hit the “POST THIS JOB” green button and you are all set to sit back and wait, as the responses start flying in by the dozens.

READING THROUGH THE RESPONSES The crucial part of hiring the right person is weeding out the garbage so you can find a developer that will get the job done. Just 24 hours after placing the post, I have received over twenty responses. Remember - you are always in control. They are dying for your business.

Do not waste time with developers who leave generic responses, like the ones I got below:

“...I have more than 3+ experienced in web development from creating web applications to android applications to create a long term commitment I will charge low bid. Some of the applications i have created under di"erent companies…”

32 Hiring the right people to make your apps

“…Hello, I have 2+ years of experience in mobile application development. Please check my Elance portfolio for my android & iPhone app work. I am native android and cross platform (Titanium App Certified) developer. You can check my Google Play Account also…”

As you can tell, these two separate developers simply did the “cut and paste” game to respond to my post. They spend all day doing nothing but pasting a generic response to a targeted job. Funny thing is, they will always get that one “sucker” who bites on the hook. I was in sales for many years and know how the game is played.

A good technique to weed out the garbage is to ask the potential freelancers to do the following: ‘Sadly, a lot of people just spam these job postings without fully reading them. To prevent this I’m asking you to respond to this post with the words Grease Lighting to ensure that you:

1. Are human and not spam 2. Have actually read what I’m looking for and are interested in working with me.’

You are looking for a developer who takes the time to read your response personally and who answers you as if you were sitting right in front of them. In many cases, this could be only one or two out of all of the responders, and it is well worth the e"ort when you find the right one. Take a look at one developer’s response below:

“...Hi Daniel, I am android developer, working as freelancer, I have already developed two live wallpapers which is in market in my play store Take Look:...”

“…Adding a utility flashlight feature to this application is a simple task, which I can finish in 2 weeks…”

33 Invisible App Machine

(This is the person i hired from india)

(This is one of the apps he developed that i tested and it worked great on my phone—i deleted the name of developer account and product id to protect his identity)

YOU HAD ME AT HELLO! — this is exactly the type of developer I am looking for. I even agreed for him to work out the final price to be $93. This is a very good price for your first application. (I ACTUALLY PAID HIM $200 WHEN ALL WAS SAID AND DONE AS I GAVE HIM A BONUS)

34 Hiring the right people to make your apps

NEGOTIATING THE DETAILS You need to work out a few details with your developer BEFORE accepting the job and moving forward. The developer’s responsiveness and willingness to discuss these issues will also give you an idea what it will be like working together.

A copy of the source code Make sure you confirm that you will have a copy of all of the SOURCE CODE (application code) along with the final APK for this price. The reason you want the source code is so you can use it to make similar applications with di"erent themes. (This is a topic for a di"erent chapter.)

(A screen shot will show typically what is included in the code which they will send to you in a .rar file or a zip file:

FIX LATER ISSUES Make sure that they will agree to fix any bugs or issues that may occur during or after the install into Google Play or if there are any issues with the application (APK file) even if these occur at least a month after the job is completed. SO SO IMPORTANT – YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS A REQUIREMENT BEFORE YOU SEND PAYMENT.

35 Invisible App Machine

INTEGRATE DESIGN WORK Make sure they agree to integrate your new design work into the application, even if it means they finished their part of the job before the designer or other 3rd party who is working on the application for you.

MILESTONE PAYMENTS Make sure they agree to a payment plan in two or three segments - not all at once. In these third party freelance sites, there is ALWAYS a way to divide the agreed upon price into installments or milestones. In many cases you can just hold the funds into the freelance escrow account. The developer will be very happy to see this has been done, as it is an act of good faith on your part to “invest” the money in the project.

EXAMPLE:

Going through these third party freelance sites is a lot safer than Craigslist or other sources of employment, as your money is protected and you can dispute your funds. I also suggest using PAYPAL as the go through payment processor, and they also protect your money for up to 60 days.

Make sure the developer agrees to these above terms before you assign the job.

36 Hiring the right people to make your apps

From this point, after you have sorted out the developer, all you would do is SELECT the person of choice and you are in business.

RELATIONSHIP IS EVERYTHING Right now, fortunately, there is an abundance of starving developers who are desperate to make your application. This is very good news for you. Why? There is not enough app business available for money hungry developers, so now, more than ever, developers have to o"er quality apps to you at relatively reasonable rates.

Back in 2011, when I started the app business, a good developer was hard to find and they were not cheap. My first very simple weight loss eBook, cost me almost $1,300 by the time I was ready to publish. That’s a lot of money!! In today’s Google Developer market, the same app would have cost me around $85, and that’s including all the design work. I searched three primary websites to find an app developer, and I was lucky enough to find a developer I can trust. To this day, I use the same developer and in fact he has become one of my closest friends!!

WHY GOOD BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS ARE IMPORTANT The other day on short notice I needed to do a print job rather quickly. In the past when this was an issue from time to time, I would simply send an email directly to the print shop where I had a long standing relationship with the manager and their sta" who worked there. The print job would be done within an hour. Often I would drive right over to the location as soon as I’d sent the email, and almost every time the print job was completed by the time I got there. It was almost too easy! In some cases I did not even have to say a freaking word -- I would simply walk in the door, while talking on the phone to my mother or a friend, walk up to the counter and the manager would look me right in the face, and put my order right in my hands without saying a word. It was that simple.

This relationship was not something that was developed immediately. It took time – in fact, almost year before we built up that trust and a healthy quality relationship. This only developed with the e"ort of me showing my face, sending emails with specific job requests, and working out any mistakes or issues and learning my lessons from those mistakes to make sure the job was done right.

37 Invisible App Machine

I would give the manager and some of the other supervisors, small gift cards and other cool gifts over time to show my appreciation for all their hard work. So by the time I sent an order in to get done, they knew in the back of their mind that I was priority and that we had a mutual respect for one another. It was a symbiotic relationship that developed over time through trial and error… until of course, it all changed…

Unfortunately, due to economic issues in my area, the print store had to close down so I had to start the tedious process of sending my business elsewhere. Keep in mind that there had always been print shops closer to my house, but I had always driven a few extra miles due to my personal and long standing relationship with this print location. I was heartbroken. Not because I couldn’t have the print job done any more, but because I lost that personal relationship with the print manager and their sta". It had taken time to build this up. Since this occurrence, I have tried requesting the job at a new location with mixed results. The job is constantly done wrong, the price is much higher, I have to call first to confirm whether they received my email for the print job as the print representative is not answering my emails, thereby delaying my job by as much as a few days when it used to take an hour. I could go on but I think you get the picture! Relationship is everything…

MY RELATIONSHIPS WITH DEVELOPERS Fortunately, I have not had the same problem with my mobile app business. About three years ago, I started the process of creating my first mobile application and recruited an android application developer on Elance. It was a horrible experience – I paid around $1300 to create my first application…a weight loss eBook.

However in the process, I stumbled across another developer who begged for my business. I was so depressed over the first app, I told him to get lost as I preferred to pay $1300 an app to the developer who strung me along (I did not know any better and had no idea how apps worked or what they cost). Eventually, I said the hell with it and tested the new developer on a few new apps. He did an awesome job and it was really cost e"ective. He made two wallpaper apps and one eBook for $192 (that’s $64 an app) just to show me how hungry he was for my business. I WAS SOLD.

Three years and one thousand apps later, we are almost best friends. Even

38 Hiring the right people to make your apps though I have never met this developer up close as he lives half way across the world, we are still close friends and awesome business partners. I know this newly formed virtual relationship now make apps dirt cheap, so it almost takes the fun out of it. Once you develop a personal relationship with a trustworthy application android developer, “economies of scale” will come into action. I say this because the cost of me doing ten apps is almost the same price as it as for me to do two apps three years ago. I do so many apps, that the cost is so low that it is actually a joke when you think about it.

I have developed this relationship with the developer to the point where he knows exactly what I need done. Most of the time, I simply change the theme or content, and he already has the script so it’s just a simple task of switching out the design and content I am creating. I have built up such a great relationship with the developer that I don’t even have to pay him for months at a time as he knows I am not going anywhere. More importantly we have developed a relationship of trust. I pay him in bundles for apps he has done, yet he doesn’t even care what I pay him. Why? Relationship, that’s why. I sent gifts during the holidays, wish him happy birthday… you get the picture. You need to make sure that while you are building up your mobile android app business that you are just as importantly building up your relationship with the developer. Once this is in place its worth 100 times more than money. You can’t put a dollar figure on a good relationship. Relationship is everything.

COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR OUTSOURCERS At this point, you should have already done your research and have a very clear idea as to what you app should be able to do. So you can clearly explain your breakdown of the application, so that all parties can properly understand how to build and design the product correctly according to your vision. The cool thing is you don’t need to talk in code to explain this. Just be clear and precise.

In my case, it’s very simple. I have a Planet Earth wallpaper theme with a live clock and flashlight feature. Essentially three features in one.

39 Invisible App Machine

USE VISUALS My research shows that developers and designers can be easily guided by other examples of applications that you can provide through screen shots or Google Play links. Flying completely blind at this point will get you nowhere. You should have examples, screen shots or a rough layout of the basic functionality of what you want your application to do.

START FUNCTIONALITY SEGMENT Tell your approved developer to start the functionality segment of this product – in this case, they should start working on an application that can utilize the flashlight portion of the phone, with an action of the user pressing their figure to turn on and o" the flash.

DON’T FORGET THE CLOCK! Make sure the developer integrates the clock portion into the application as well.

ASK FOR A BETA VERSION Even if you do not have the final design by now, your developer can at least give you a beta version to test with a generic layout for testing on your smart phone. So if they ask for the design at any point and it’s not ready, let them know the following: “Until I have the design in place, send me a test version with a generic design so that I can test the application on my Android phone. This way we are not wasting any time.” This can be applied to all applications you are working on as long as you provide the basic content or idea of what you are trying to achieve.

APK FILE !TEST APPLICATION" From this point, they will email you a test application known as an APK file, which you can automatically install right into your smart phone directly from the email. Make sure you change settings in your smart phone to allow applications from outside the Google Store. This is a settings option that simply needs to be adjusted.

I love Android smart phones as they tell you where to retrieve the application for review. This is idiot proof. I wish someone explained the process to me, as it took me over 3 days to understand how to open up an Android application/ APK file. I was so frustrated, I almost gave up on this at that point in time. Can

40 Hiring the right people to make your apps you imagine? Just because I could not open the application. Trust me - 50% of new app marketers will give up right here. Yet it is so simple – just open that email, and your phone does the work.

Next is the important task of testing, so you can work out all the bugs, kinks and force-closes.

(I will see some examples of what an APK file looks like)

COMPLETING THE DEVELOPER’S JOB If you hired your animator/developer through Odesk as I did, then at this point you need to finalize payment, mark the job complete and leave a positive review. If you want to build a long-standing relationship with this contractor, the best start from their point of view is good communication, prompt payment and positive feedback. Give them all this and they will be really keen to work with you all again. Some of the best working relationships I have made are all from Elance and Odesk, which have also helped me generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in Android revenue!

(Please revert to the BONUS SECTION #3/How to Hire a Developer, if you need help in converting your application into an APK file ready to install into google play.

SUMMING UP STEP 3 When you can’t do something yourself, outsource the task. You can find the right contractor for the right price through online contracting sites, but once you find someone you work well with, look after that relationship with positive feedback and prompt payment. Good communication is the key to these relationships, so make sure you can explain exactly what you want and provide examples when possible.

44 Testing the app

STEP 4: TESTING THE APP

45 Invisible App Machine STEP 4: TESTING THE APP

Now in Week 2, I just received notice that my 3D JET FIGHTER PLANE is finished and ready to be integrated into an APK file that can then be uploaded into Google Play. Sounds simple right? That’s because it is! This is not rocket science!

Once the developer (glorified animator in this case) has completed the animation rendering of the 3D FIGHTER PLANE, I just need to test this on my mobile phone to see how it looks and whether it is sized correctly. After extensive review, I noticed that the animation frame speed is perfect, and that the animated video properly fits into that of a 480x800 typical Android mobile phone. I did not create this application for anything larger than a mobile phone.

So the animated portion is completed and your developer has converted this into the APK file so the Google Play Developer Console will successfully approve your uploads without any issues.

PACKAGE NAME SHOULD MATCH DEVELOPER CONSOLE NAME Remind the developer that the “package name” that they are adding into the APK file matches the name of the developer console. For, I have told the developer that the package name for my 3D JET FIGHTER should be 3DMOBILEAPPS in the apk file, which in turn is also the name of my GOOGLE PLAY developer account.

Use the formula when creating package ID: com.devname.appname

For example, my Fighter Jet Plane app would be com.3dmobileapps.3djetfighterlivewallpaper

CHECK FOR FINAL SOURCE CODE When the APK file is completed, check that you also receive a copy of the final “source code”, which includes all of the back-end coded work of the application that was created. It is extremely important to have this final source code as it gives you the freedom to make adjustments to the application at a later point

46 Testing the app in time if necessary, without relying on the initial developer who created this application.

ALWAYS UPDATE NEWEST VERSION Every time you decide to update the APK file in the GOOGLE PLAY platform, make sure you update with a newer version than the last. So if you need to make fixes, revisions or updates to the application, always replace Version 1 with Version 2 and then Version 2 with Version 3 and so on. If you upload a new APK that is Version 1 when you have a Version 3 in the GOOGLE DEVELOPER console, then you will get an error.

Note that I have hired a developer to convert this animated video into an APK file for $5 and I should get it back in a day or so. While I am waiting, I will work on the video and design portion of this application.

HIRING A DESIGNER As mentioned above, I recommend hiring your designer through Fiverr.com. The designer will say on his/ her profile what he will complete for the fee of five dollars, so your list of requirements may be a multiple of five dollars. Look at the designer’s portfolio to ensure you have a

REQUESTING THE RIGHT SIZES For this jetfight wallpaper application, all I needed was design for the display of the application. The application itself is simply a live animated moving wallpaper, so no design work was needed for that part. I ordered some design to be done in several sizes based on Google Play Developer Accounts requirements.

Keep in mind that the user/person who installs your app is a visual impulsive user, so you need to catch their eye before they move onto a new app. Most developers, almost 80% or more don’t even add in design on their app Google Display pages. Taking a few extra minutes to create this gives you a huge head start and makes a world of di"erence.

47 Invisible App Machine

Make sure when ordering design you do so in the following sizes:

1024 x 500 – 1 image

512 x 512 – 1 image

180 x 120 – 1 image

480 x 800 – 1-3 images

Of course you can do other image sizes as well, but this is the bare minimum you should be working on.

48 Testing the app

RESEARCH THE DESIGN TRENDS Do your research by going on Google Play to see the look and feel of their design of other relatively popular applications in your genre to help you have a good idea of how you want yours to look. If you are a designer by nature then this will be a walk in the park. I outsource because I have zero talent in the ability to create cool design. I generally spend around $5 for basic design work – if I need the application itself to have more detailed design (such as for eBooks or trivia games) I might go as high as $15 or $20.

For example, I created a POLITICAL TRIVIA QUIZ last year. So I needed to order design on the: Main user console page (Cost: $10 on fiverr)

I also ordered some display design work as well in 1024x500

512 x 512

512 x 512 180 x 120

49 Invisible App Machine

COST FOR ALL THREE: $10 The most expensive part was hiring someone to create the Question and Answer content for this 120 question quiz exam.

Cost: $100 on Elance.com

Other content based applications, such as a weight loss eBook, also cost me around $15 or so to create, as I needed a designer to create a console page for me.

50 Testing the app

I purchased an eBook online (PLR RIGHTS), and took this design then hired an application developer on ODESK.COM to add in the content of the ebook.

In regards to the 3D JET FIGHTER LIVE WALLPAPER, there was no design work needed for the application itself. When it comes to wallpapers (live motion or GIF images) the only design you will need is for display purposes only.

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUTUBE We’ve seen that creating design is a huge advantage in making the application more presentable – to add a 1-2 punch to this strategy, try adding a video along with the design. For some reason, there is a very strong correlation between higher app rankings when design and video is added to each application, and this in turn adds more views and installs.

Google will never admit it and I can’t prove it, but I have noticed that when you create a video and publish the video along with your application, Google rewards you for providing more available fresh content to go along with the content of your application. Google loves videos. They consistently rank high on the organic portion of Google Search.

The great thing about videos is that they are super easy to create and publish. All you need to do is install the video into YouTube, which is owned by Google then take the link of the new video and simply place it right in the application your created in the Google Developer Console. I mostly only pay $5 on Fiverr and hire some editor to create basic and easy to view videos to promote my application.

52 Uploading your app

STEP 5: UPLOADING YOUR APP

53 Invisible App Machine STEP 5: HIRING THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO MAKE YOUR APPS

If you have made this far, then give yourself a pat on the back. SERIOUSLY!! So far, you have already achieved what only 10% of new aspiring mobile app marketers could ever dream of.

Uploading the app is the easiest part of the process, as you are simply taking all the information you have gathered over the past week or so, and publishing it in the Google Play Developer Console. I explained this whole process in the corresponding hands-on video [name of video].

Let the video guide you through the process along with this manual and you will have published your first application in no time!

The steps are as follows:

STEP 1 # PUBLISH The first time you upload your application, you will see four box squares to choose from. Simply choose “PUBLISH AN ANDROID APP ON GOOGLE PLAY”

STEP 2 # APK You will notice eight headings to the left of the page. If you want to initially

54 Uploading your app upload your file, choose the “APK” heading. If you want to start on the content portion of the upload, choose “STORE LISTING”. To keep things simple, I always start with uploading the file first, so I choose “APK”.

STEP 3 # LANGUAGE You will be asked to enter your language of choice. (Default language is always ENGLISH (UNITED STATES). Next, choose your “TITLE”. Note that this title should not be more than 30 characters long. Create an eye-catching title that also has some SEO power.

STEP 4 # UPLOAD Once you enter the TITLE, choose the “UPLOAD APK” icon on the bottom left of the page. Depending on the size of the APK upload, and speed of your internet, this can take as long as 5 minutes to upload!

STEP 5 # LISTING When the APK has uploaded, in most cases you are automatically directed to the LISTING area. If this is not the case, press the “PREPARE STORE LISTING”

STEP 6 #DESCRIPTION Once you are in the “STORE LISTING” section, your “TITLE” should already be filled out.

Start by entering a character description in the “DESCRIPTION” section, using no more than a 4000 characters. Make sure the description is rich in relevant content and keywords so it describes the product clearly and shows up on searches.

STEP 7 $ PROMO TEXT Below this, you will see the “PROMO TEXT” section. This is simply a quick 80 character summary that best explains the application. The goal with this section is to help grab mass appeal and stand out from the rest of the application. This section is typically relevant when you are updating new revisions to your application and would like to notify your users of what changes were made to make your application better and or more appealing.

STEP 8 $ APPLICATION TYPE You would choose between APPLICATIONS or GAMES. Anything that is not a

55 Invisible App Machine game is classified under APPLICATIONS

STEP 9 # CATEGORY Whenever I am not sure which category to choose, I simply go to Google Play ad review similar popular apps of the same genre and go from there. For a wallpaper animated application, such as this one, I choose “PERSONALIZATION” as I have done really well in this Category, plus this is one of the most profitable categories that consistently delivers $$$$.

STEP 10 $ CONTENT RATING “CONTENT RATING”--- If you plan to add a banner ad or an ad network into your APK file (airpush/revmob..etc) then you should ALWAYS choose either “HIGH MATURITY” or “MEDIUM MATURITY”. Google has pretty strict standards regarding maturity, and the ads you have in the app might be for mature audiences even if the application itself is for children. You are responsible for all the content – not only in the app that you developed but also in the ads that you place in the app. You can make business apps, apps for children, and other safe-to-view content available for “EVERYONE”. For games and other content that might be questionable for young children, it is generally safer to choose “LOW MATURITY” so long as you are not placing ads or if the app has “in app purchases”.

CONTACT DETAILS

WEBSITE In this section, you can place the link of your business website, Facebook page or any other socially hosted account or site that helps promote this application you have created.

EMAIL You generally find that this section features the email address you used when you originally set up the google developer site. If not, add the email address you want associated with this developer account.

PHONE This is not a requirement. In most cases, I leave the phone number blank as I would prefer all pieces of communication directed to my email. PRIVACY POLICY You have the option of adding a dedicated website link to your personal privacy 56 Uploading your app policy. This is typically very important when grabbing user data and other elements associated with the user’s privacy. If you are placing ads in your apps or creating an app that grabs email addresses.etc, then I recommend that you create a privacy policy. You can typically hire someone on FIVERR to do this quickly.

TRANSLATIONS At the top of the page, you will see the tool to add TRANSLATIONS. I highly recommend you add some of the top language variations of your application right away. Personally, I have noticed many thousands if not hundreds of thousands installs once I translated an app to Spanish. In some cases, I had more installs in a foreign language than that in my native tongue. Remember: more installs = MORE $$$$$

PRICING & DISTRIBUTION At top of the page in this section, you will see that your application is automatically listed as “FREE”. If you want to create and choose an application to be a “PAID” application, you need set up a merchant account through GOOGLE WALLET – this should take no time at all.

However, I am a fan of giving my apps away for free to grab more eyes and make money from the ads, rather than making a lot less and charging upfront. Almost 95% of all my applications are always “FREE”. Real marketers are making money with in-app purchases placed within the free app and teasing the user to get them interested once they are in the application.

DISTRIBUTE IN THESE COUNTRIES In most cases, I simply “SELECT ALL COUNTRIES” to promote my app. Why not? Google is basically prepared to publish your app across the world for an additional fee.

However, this should be done on a case by case basis. If you are a Chicago doctor who made a business app for people in that city, then you would only need to make the app available for the USA. And if there is sexual content, such as sex trivia games, uncheck countries like SOUTH KOREA that are pretty strict on this content. So you do have to be up to date and aware of which countries allow certain content.

57 Invisible App Machine

GOOGLE PLAY FOR EDUCATION This is only suitable if your app fits the requirements for children. There is not much money in this option, so I typically stay away from this one.

CONSENT

MARKETING Opt Out-- I leave this blank as I always want Google to promote this product outside of Google Play for maximum exposure – a no brainer in my opinion.

CONTENT GUIDELINES Opt-in on this as it is required. Google wants to ensure you understand that the content in the application is safe and secure for people to install. I would recommend not uploading a sexual app of some kind as I have had most of my sex apps take down and or suspended.

US EXPORT LAWS Opt-in. This works in the same way for the most part, confirming that your app is safe and you have not stolen or pirated any information that would deem this a stolen app.

Once this is all completed, you have to go to the top right of the Google Developer Console manually and choose “PUBLISH THIS APP”. In some cases, I have simply forgotten to publish and would go back into the account days later with the app still in “UNPUBLISHED” mode.

Once you published the application, it will take between ten minutes and 24 hours for the app to be leave in the Google Play Store. Unlike IOS, Google does not inspect the app first although they will suspend you afterwards if they suspect the app does not meet their guidelines. So be careful.

AVOID GOOGLE BANS I can give a 3-day seminar of Google bans and other issues that could happen in your developer account. But we can summarize this in a few key statements. Keep the apps clean.

Don’t steal images, content or any other pieces of information that you feel are not completely yours or original.

58 Uploading your app

Google typically gives you three strikes. Once they have suspended more than three apps from one account, they are on the verge of terminating the developer account.

60 How your app will make you money

STEP 6: HOW YOUR APP WILL MAKE YOU MONEY

61 Invisible App Machine STEP 6: HOW YOUR APP WILL MAKE YOU MONEY You would think that after spending time creating, designing and publishing your application that you would be done and ready to sit back and watch the money roll in. I wish this were the case! In some instances, this has actually worked.

Last year, I created a Rollercoaster wallpaper that simply went ape shit on Google. I was getting over 4000 installs a day.

Example on google play

62 How your app will make you money

Simply a rush, but not the norm. The chances of your application – let alone your first application – taking o" and striking gold is next to impossible. You MUST have a system in place that gives the application a little push to get it o" its baby feet. Do this often enough and you will receive a ton of installs that truly generates “money while you sleep.” This is no joke. There is nothing better than waking up in the morning to see you have earned close to $250 so far and it’s not even 10am... that’s right! I said 10am...a little late to be waking up, don’t you think? Well, once you put yourself in a financial situation where you are generating more income in a day than a typical person does in two or three days of full time work then you deserve to sleep in a few more hours in the morning.

63 Invisible App Machine

(PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS 2 OF ABOUT 12 DIFFERENT ADNETWORK ACCOUNTS I HAVE THAT ARE GENERATING ME DAILY PASSIVE INCOME)

Essentially as an “APPANUER”, you not only have to make sure the application is developed and created according to your requirements, but you also need to know how to market this sucker. Don’t worry, this part is very easy once you have a system in place. I am going to touch on these areas of interest just for you.

The great thing about Android apps as opposed to many other platforms is Google isn’t the only kid on the block. Unlike IOS and which have you by the “you know what” in terms of only having one platform to showcase your applications, Android has many di"erent platforms to showcase your masterpiece. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard stories of app marketers making a killing by simply submitting their apps to other android friendly programs outside Google. It is important that you get in the comfort level of promoting your application on other platforms such as MOBILE9 and OPERA, to name a few. I have had hundreds of apps that have outperformed Google apps ten to one.

Don’t get me wrong, Google is the big boy on the block. There is no comparison. However, it is nice to know that you not tied to Google’s policies and regulations, which let me tell you, is no picnic. I have had many apps removed from the Google Play store for the dumbest reasons that I still do not full know why till this day.

Lesson learned: DIVERSIFY - never put all your eggs (or apps) in one basket. Make sure that you have your apps in as many Android platforms as possible.

The Android platform is becoming more and more popular every day. As Second and Third World countries start to catch up with us in terms of disposable income, smart phones will be purchased, and I am not talking about the $700 iPhones. I’m not telling you to go against the wind – the wind is directing you towards Android users by the hundreds of millions. It is time for you to reap the rewards of Application and promotion just as I have.

64 How your app will make you money

PROMOTING YOUR APP When an application is completed, here are some of the steps I follow to get the application:

1. Publish application in Google Developer console 2. Upload additional design images and a You Tube video promoting the application 3. Convert the application into top 10 or so country translations with highest add revenue and population (UK/ USA/ France/ India… to name a few). 4. Promote the application outside Google into top 5 platforms to start (Samsung/ Mobile 9/ Opera/ Mobango/ Getjar) there are more but these will give you a really good headstart. 5. Buy some a"ordable “install” tra!c from App Brain and Airpush to name a few. 6. Create a press release to promote the app (you can hire people on Fiverr to do this for $5… I love the internet!!) 7. Publicise this application on as many android forums as possible - you can also hire people on Fiverr to do this as well…you getting the picture here?

Once you get into the habit of properly promoting your application with these methods above, you will see a ton of results in achieving you goals when promoting your application.

Good luck! But to be honest, if you simply follow my layout, you won’t need luck… Just a little bit of drive. APPS AWAY………………………………….

I could teach a dissertation on how to get more tra!c to your application, in addition to what I have discussed, but this is a topic I will discuss in detail at another time.

Super “NINJA” Tips on Generating Additional Income from Creating Android Apps—Author’s Final Chapter—Final thoughts

65 Invisible App Machine

FLIP YOUR ANDROID APPLICATION There has been much talk about Android developers and marketers successfully “flipping the app”, which in layman’s terms, is the ability to create an application that generates installs with continuous revenue while selling the app through a number of online platforms that specialize in this specific task.

I have never personally benefited from such an impressive feat. However, I have had a few people reach out and o"er me $25,000 - $30,000 for some of my high ranking wallpaper apps that were generating large amounts of daily income, but to be honest, I am not in the business of selling my own applications. Some people are… I am not.

As a test for the sake of this eBook I did try and sell one of my animated rollercoaster applications on APPTOPIA for $6,000 (keep in mind this application consistently generates a minimum of $785 a month) and found almost no buyers. The one buyer I did find insulted me with a $2,000 purchase. Typically high functioning apps such as exercise program apps, utility or games with a huge install rate and user base have more luck than simple wallpaper apps. However once you are ready, check out these sites:

ww.flippa.com www.codecanyon.com www.chupamobile.com www.apptopia.com www.appbusinessbrokers.com www.sellmyapps.com

Through these sites, you can also buy apps with their source code, clean them up and improve how they look, and then publish them with a higher return on investment. It’s fun to negotiate and test this option. I have done this and made a nice return on investment on many apps. It also gives you a great idea as to what apps are hot and what are not so you can create your themed application around the hot trends.

PROMOTE YOUR OWN OFFERS? DOES IT WORK? In several of my religious based wallpaper apps that were ranked really high in the Google Play Store, I was using a standard network SDK that pull GEO targeted ads from the network based on where the ad was shown. For

66 How your app will make you money example, if a user from India installed my application, the network I signed up with (AIRPUSH for example) would automatically show targeted ads in that region, thereby maximizing our revenue potential.

I decided to remove this network SDK and replace it with a targeted a!liate link from a dating site that targets the religious app I was promoting. I would have been paid $30.00 for every sale. One of the setbacks and this mainly applies to all types of a!liate products you would be promoting if you wanted to go this route is you in most cases would only benefit from the sale of a user in a specific region like the USA/ Canada /UK / Australia. You see, most companies only pay out for users with high spending potential. They do not perceive that countries such as India/ China/ Egypt could high-spending so they penalize you the a!liate. If you happen to get a sale in a country that is not a high revenue country, you earn nothing. So I tested this option with allowable tra!c to come from USA/ UK and CANADA. I sent 10,000 clicks from 3 apps to a dating site, and after a one month campaign I made… drum roll please… $0. You guessed it… nothing. Not one penny from this.

If I had kept Airpush or even Hezap in the apps with 10,000 clicks I would have received at least 200 installs, giving me anywhere from $20-$100 in revenue. So my conclusion from this is to stick with the ad networks and their SDK. They do take a slightly bigger bite of commission, but you are almost guaranteed to benefit from installs from every country showing it, as opposed to just three or four big revenue streams of high income spenders. Focus on making apps without worrying which ad network o"ers you should promote. Let the ad networks do the dirty work for you. It’s time-consuming and takes away from your app-making time.

KEY WORD EMBEDDING IN THE PACKAGE NAME… DOES IT WORK?

The answer is YES YES YES….

I have noticed that by simply adding the keyword you are targeting into the “PACKAGE NAME” you will get a high ranking specifically in the Google Play store, which means more installs and more revenue. So make sure the KEY WORD of the app you are making is in the app name — for example:

67 Invisible App Machine

Add your company name/the app name like this: “com.wackiapps.fishinwaterlivewallpaper”

However, when you simply switch this “PACKAGE NAME” to: “com.fish.swiminwater” Google seems to rank the key word higher.

Don’t get confused as this is not the actual title of the application in the . The actual title for this was: “Fish Swim in Water LWP”. The title is the full name and the “PACKAGE NAME” is simply the main keywords of the app embedded into the APK itself, so that Google can better target the name to a specific genre.

This is a super easy tweak that will easily get you up to 50% more installs.

PORN SELLS Since the dawn of man, sex sells. So why not be a part of this very popular form of entertainment? The money is good and it is easy to do. It is simple to make a sexy wallpaper app or an app of with sexy images and upload into platforms that allow porn (not in Google Play of course). Add in an ad network that works well with porn like EOMOBI and AIRPUSH and you are good to go.

I WILL HELP IN YOUR ANDROID DEVELOPMENT FOR $5

I can help your small to moderate android development design, consulting and to some extend of development too.

With my experience in android development, i have developed android apps mostly associated with integrating 3rd party apps.

Note: I have to admit it is a better idea to hire someone if you app needs lot of UI work in android app. I am not super smart in working on android screens (UI).

FIND A DESIGNER TO CREATE THE DISPLAY BANNERS. I notice that many developers/marketers create an application, but they have not done any design or video work to make the application look more appealing, thereby leaving a ton if installs on the table. I cannot express the importance of adding a bit of creativity to the app by taking this next step of hiring a designer. Before hiring a designer, take a look at their prior work to get an idea, and then place the order. It should take around two days for them to complete this task.

Make sure when finding the design to have them create the size layouts made in: ΄ 1024x500 ΄ 1250x800 ΄ 512x512 ΄ 180x120

HIRE A VIDEO “GIG” TO HELP PROMOTE YOUR NEW ANDROID APPLICATION. There are so many cool “gigs” you can choose from when looking to hire the right video person. In some cases I do my own instructional video and pay $5 to have it edited with text and background music, but that’s up to you. Once the video is completed, upload it into a YouTube account that is linked with your Gmail and Google Developer account, and you would simply place the YouTube link into the developer account.

I WILL PLACE YOUR LOGO OR PRODUCT OR CUSTOM MESSAGE OR ANYTHING UNDERWATER RIPPLES IN MOON LIGHT FOR $5

76 Creating a GIF image for Google Play

For around $20, you can have an application created/designed and configured ready to upload into your GOOGLE DEVELOPER ACCOUNT.

I generate on average about $1 - 2 dollars a day per app this way.

If you wanted to, you could pay an additional $5 to have a 3rd party install the application along with all of the content into your developer account.

Talk about outsourcing. You are not doing a damn thing except waiting for the money to roll in.

INTEGRATE TO GOOGLE PLAYSTORE Once step 1 through 5 is completed, simply take the video and design you created and integrate it into the Google Playstore...and you are set!!
