Peugeot 50Cc Scooter Cranks T-Max Malossi Power October 2010 E & OE 2010 PEUGEOT 50CC SCOOTER CRANKS Replacing your Peugeot 50cc scooter's crankshaft used to be a costly affair. The only source of the later cam driven crank would be directly from a franchised main dealer. Well, thanks to VE (UK), a replacement unit can now be purchased for a much more reasonable sum of money. With both the early and late versions of the crank now available, for scooters with or without the air feed pipe, savings can be made on both fronts. The VE cranks are top quality both in materials used and performance. These high quality cranks produced by Top Racing fit a multitude of models of Peugeot 50cc scooters including: Buxy, Elyseo, Looxor, Metal X, Speedake, Speedfight, Squab, Trekker, Vivacity and Zenith. VB20431 STANDARD CRANKSHAFT - FOR SCOOTERS WITH AIR FEED PIPE VB20051 STANDARD CRANKSHAFT - FOR SCOOTERS WITHOUT AIR FEED PIPE T-MAX MALOSSI POWER Malossi have developed the following range of items for the Yamaha T-Max for use in their very successful race series in Italy, and have developed them over a considerable amount of race re- search and development. Malossi have pulled out all the stops once again and produced a 560cc cylinder kit for the Yamaha T-Max 500. The single block alloy twin cylinder is produced from a special blend of alloys that is hardened and stress relieved and machined to extremely tight tolerances that you have come to expect from all Malossi products. Malossi have worked their magic to produce a product that will see an increase of approximately 15% increase in overall power. The cylinder kit is available for both the 5UV and 4B5 engine designations which covers all models of the T-Max from 2004 on- wards. YM313666 MALOSSI 560cc T-MAX CYLINDER KIT FOR 4B5 ENGINES YM313687 MALOSSI 560cc T-MAX CYLINDER KIT FOR 5VU ENGINES For those owners who do not want to increase the capacity of their machine to 560cc, Malossi have also produced a special set of replacement pistons to be used with the original 500cc cylinders. The Pistons have an increased compression ratio to gain that little bit more oomph that users so often desire. These carry the VE (UK) part number of YM343706. DISCOUNTS AT VE (UK) We are all facing very difficult trading conditions, and the recession has hit our sector harder than most. Europe has not been immune from the poor economic climate and we have faced prices from our suppliers steadily creeping up. With the Pound struggling to hold its own against the Euro it goes without saying that this has an adverse effect on our costs, most of our stocks being imported from Europe. We have been able to absorb most price increases from our suppliers (and there have been many of these) but likewise, we have to keep a close eye on our limits and from time to time it is necessary to respond to external pressures and fluctuations. Because of this we are altering slightly our discount structure. From 1st October we will be offering our 2½% discount on all orders over £100 (net of Vat)*. We would like to remind those dealers placing orders of between £50 and £100 that we continue to offer carriage free on all U.K. orders over £50 (net of Vat) as we have done now for over 10 years. This is equivalent to a discount of up to 15% and is unmatched in the UK to our knowledge. We hope that you, our loyal customers, will appreciate our efforts to maintain consistent prices, strengthening your confidence in us, as a true specialist scooter parts wholesaler, not a retailer/trader or internet retailer selling to the trade. Thank you for your time. Best regards Norrie Kerr (M.D.) VE (UK) *As per our normal terms - not available on Tyres, Polini products, nor in addition to any Malossi Tech Centre discounts. VE (UK) TRADE SITE NEWS As you are no doubt aware our retail websites have recently gone through a facelift over the past few months. These sites are important to help your customers see what's on offer from your supplier. Accordingly we are looking at our dedicated trade only site at www.ve-trade.com which has fallen under the microscope for a few important tweaks here and there. With the trade site firmly established in everyday use by literally hundreds of dealers, we have listened to suggestions from dealers as to new features they would like to see implemented, and as always we are delighted to respond with adding a feature that dealers have requested. So we have made a significant change to the ordering process that will save you time when you are going through the ordering process. The addition of a new quantities box next to the order button, allows you to add multiple quantities of any item to your basket without going to the checkout page and altering each product line , as was done previously. 8 simple steps to ordering on the VE (UK) Trade site 1: Log in to the site, if you have not yet registered for access, visit www.ve-trade.com and click on the register link. 2: Click place new order in the top left hand menu. 3: Locate the parts you require from our vast range, either by entering the part number if you know it, or by using our “no typing required” drop down menu system. 4: Enter the quantity you require in the new quantity box, and click the order button. 5: To complete your order click view your order or to add more parts to your order click continue shopping, repeating steps 3 to 5. 6: Once you have completed adding parts to your order, click view your order. 7: If you need to alter quantities simply change the quantity on the product line(s) you wish to change and click complete additions. If you wish to remove a product from your order simply change the quantity to 0 (zero) and click complete additions. 8: Click “click here to send your order to VE (UK)" to submit your order for processing. Remember that the VE (UK) trade website is available to you 24/7/365, so no matter where you are or what time of day it is, you can order from VE (UK) with the added bonus of there being no phone or fax charges. We are always happy to receive constructive suggestions, some of which we can expedite, some however, take a little longer. GIANNELLI REKORD & SHOT GIANNELLI - THE FACTS Giannelli Rekord Giannelli is acknowledged as one of Europe's top exhaust manufacturers. Their pedigree in the scooter field is well known, one that has been at the forefront in the design and technology of scooter exhaust systems for many years. Giannelli's latest new scooter system is the 'REKORD', a handmade system with all the looks and performance of a race product, and at a superb price. On the other hand you are looking for a out and out performance exhaust with a true racing pedigree, look no further than the Giannelli "SHOT". Both these systems confirm Giannelli's dedication in designing systems for performance, matched to owners requirements. Giannelli Shot GIANNELLI REKORD The new 'REKORD' system is produced from a mild steel clear lacquered finish for the main body, with a new style of stainless steel end can, featuring a composite muffler exit cover to further enhance the clean flowing lines of the new exhaust. The exhaust is ‘E’ marked for road use and will enhance the look and performance of any scooter it is fitted to. The Rekord is available for over 35 different scooter models from leading scooter manufacturers such as, Aprilia, Gilera, MBK, Peugeot, Piaggio and Yamaha. The Rekord will stand against any system on the market in design, performance, and cost. GIANNELLI SHOT The “SHOT" series is Giannelli Silencer’s state of the art line of “Racing Exhausts”. These exhausts are designed to improve the performance of all scooters with modified cylinder group and upgraded carburettor. They are composed by a handcrafted expansion body assembled using oxyacetylene welding processes, and by a reversed silencer made of carbon fibre.

Data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4:6fbÀ1 are used. Good agreement is observed between the data and the standard model predictions. The results are translated into exclusion limits on models with large extra spatial dimensions and on pair production of weakly interacting dark matter candidates.

It was an experience I will never forget. Abstract In the modern-day working environment, companies should thrive daily to innovate and outgrow their competition, or else risk losing their businesses. This is even more relevant for small/medium enterprises (SMEs) were the consequences could be more severe. There are two main objectives for this dissertation. The first one is to develop a comprehensive view of the concept of business development, especially in the case of SMEs. This part of the thesis is mainly based on researching the available academic publications, extracting the important and relevant information and combining all the data to form a well-structured idea of the following question “What is business development?”.

No.82 Spring 2020 EDITORIAL Happy New Year everyone! Not only a new year but a new decade and 2020 is also a leap year, to borrow tradition from the Emerald Isle, perhaps some proposals of marriage from the fairer sex within the club this year on February 29th?! Early January and my thoughts are already This issue has some excellent member returning to Vespa riding for the coming year contributions, bringing an international flavour, brought on by the balmy January weather we with stories from New Zealand, Netherlands, are having here in the UK, with temperatures Italy, South East Asia and the United States, as in the low teens! Global warming is never far well as the UK. I’ve been busy paying a few visits from the headlines these days; Australia’s record to VVC collector, Darren Bradbury, uncovering heat and bushfires occupying the front pages of and photographing the treasures in his very own late; the topsy turvy weather and indeterminate Aladdin’s Vespa cave, look out for Darren’s blue seasons are increasingly becoming the norm, Rod Model further inside, with more to come worryingly. I wrote an article for the News Page in upcoming issues. Many thanks to all of this on the VVC website, published September edition’s contributors! These are the lifeblood 2019, titled ‘Electric Dreams’ all about London of the JOURNAL, keeping us all interested based Retrospective Scooters’ electric motor and wanting more, so please do pick up your conversions for classic scooters, look it up if you pen or start typing and send me anything you haven’t already, it makes for interesting reading.
