Trainer’s Training on Community-Based Anti-Illegal Drug Advocacy

On June 17, 2021, PDEA BARMM RD JUVENAL BLANQUERA AZURIN led the opening ceremony of Trainer's Training on Community-Based Anti- Illegal Drug Advocacy (CBAIDA) of the municipality of , on June 17, 2021 held at Fairods Hotel, Poblacion, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao.

Participants of the activity were from the thirteen (13) barangays composed of members of BADAC Committee on Advocacy were the participants of the said training. This is to ensure that the participants are fully capacitated and empowered in sustaining a Drug-Cleared . BARANGAY DRUG CLEARING PROGRAM

On June 22, 2021, the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program led by Director Juvenal Blanquera Azurin convened for the deliberation of ten applicant barangays from the municipalities of , Parang, SSB, Radjah Buayan, , GSKP and Sultan Mastura of Maguindanao Province by the members of the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program (ROCBDC) chaired by Regional Director Juvenal Blanquera Azurin together with IOV Marlon Santos Assistant Regional Director, Vice Chair Minister Naguib Sinarimbo represented by Atty. Marvin Mokamad IAS Director of the MILG; OC Member PLTCOL Romel Naciongayo, Chief, RCADD, PROBAR ; OC Member Minister Dr. Bashary A. Latiph represented by Dr. Eshan Paudac, Non Com-Cluster on Dangerous Drugs and Ms Norhata Enampadan DDAPTP Manager of MOH; and Hon. Governor Bai Mariam-Sangki Mangudadatu represented by Engr. Amina T Dalandag PD of MILG and EnP Nulfarid Ampatuan Provincial ADAC Coordinator of Maguindanao Province held at El Grande, Convention Hall, DOS, Maguindanao.

Each applicant barangay showcased their anti-drug activities and defended before the Oversight Committee to be declare as drug Cleared barangay. Following the Committee's strict deliberation of 10 applicant barangays, 9 barangays were certified and declared as Drug-Cleared Barangay.

Applicant barangays were supported by the Provincial Government of Maguindanao headed by Gov Mariam S Mangudadatu , thier Local Chief Executives and municipal line agencies that led to the success of the Barangay being declared as Drug- Cleared.

Present were the member of the Oversight Committee on Barangay Dru Clearing Program from PDEA, MILG, PNP, MOH and Provincial LGU, Municipal Mayors, MLGOOs, COPs, MHOs and Punong Barangays. On June 23, 2021, Director Juvenal Blanquera Azurin together with IO V Marlon P Santos, Acting Assistant Regional Director, RTL BDCP and BDCP Team conducted seminar/workshop on Barangay Drug Clearing Program in the Municipality of held at BUPI, Magaslong, Datu Piang, Maguindanao. Discussed during the said event were the New Omnibus Guidelines on Barangay Drug Clearing Program, Documentary requirements for Barangay Drug Clearing Program, Updates on the submission of BADAC watch list, Orientation of Balay Silangan.

Present during the event were different line agencies including, PNP, MILG, officials and fifteen Punong Barangays and secretaries of the said municipality

BARANGAY DRUG CLEARING PROGRAM

On June 29, 2021, the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing Program (ROCBDC) chaired by Regional Director Juvenal Blanquera Azurin together with IOV Marlon Santos Assistant Regional Director, convened for a meeting together with Vice Chairman Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo represented by PD McMillan Lucman of the MILG Province; PLTCOL Romel Naciongayo, Chief, RCADD, PROBAR; Minister Dr. Bashary A. Latiph represented by Dr. Eshan Paudac, Non Com-Cluster on Dangerous Drugs and Ms Norhata Enampadan of MOH BARMM; and Governor Mamintal Bombit Adiong represented by Ms Salma Jayne Tamano, ADAC Coordinator held at Alemania Hotel, Iligan City.

Oversight Committee assessed and deliberated twenty-four (24) applicant barangays for drug-cleared and drug-free. Each applicant barangay presented their anti-drug initiatives and defended before the Oversight Committee to be declare as Drug-Cleared barangay. Following the Committee's strict deliberation fourteen (14) barangays were certified and declared as Drug-Cleared and ten (10) Drug-Free.
