Mobile Applications Developer (iOS/Android)

General Description InfoChip Systems Inc., a Lethbridge based Asset Management applications developer, is seeking a Mobile Applications Developer (iOS/Android). InfoChip utilizes for mobile development using # in Visual Studio to provide a unified development environment for the entire enterprise. This role will require the applicant to design, create and maintain custom software solutions which involve web and desktop components in addition to mobile based applications, against a MS SQL Server database.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities  Design, develop and maintain mobile based (as well as desktop and web) business applications primarily using Xamarin and C# in a Visual Studio environment.  Assist in debugging, staging, testing, and deploying of mobile, web based applications, and native client applications.  Liaise with Business Analysts and customers to gather, validate and document business requirements.  Complete process mapping and documentation as required.  Manage tasks, log all help desk interactions, and document resolutions using SysAid Help Desk Software.  Communicate regularly via in-person meetings, calls and written reports to management, as well as the business.

Education and Technology  2 years demonstrated work experience  Visual Studio 2008/10/12 (C#)  Xamarin experience a definite asset  SQL Server 2008r2/10/12 (SQL, T-SQL)  Javascript/jQuery/AJAX/HTML5/CSS  CVS, SourceAnywhere or other Source Control

Key Competencies  Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking, rapid prototyping, and acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.  Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.  Ability to communicate complex models/concepts.  Ability to analysis complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.  Excellent organizational and time management skills.
