3 No h5 index available for this conference Potential reason for no h5 index: Google Scholar does not calculate the h5 index for MFPS, probably because it does not recognize its proceedings among the volumes of the journal ENTCS where they are published. The h5-index of ENTCS itself is 18. Looking through the volumes as they are presented in Google Scholar, I have manually computed the h5-index of MFPS to be 13. The following papers contribute to the index: No. of citations: authors, ”title” (MFPS year) ======51: M. Pretnar, ”An introduction to algebraic effects and handlers” (2015) 46: JP. Bernardy et al., ”A presheaf model of parametric ” (2015) 24: S. Goncharov et al., ”Unguarded recursion on coinductive resumptions” (2015) 24: T. Top People Report Not providing Top People Report Other Information Comparator Comparison Comparator Workshop on Logic, Language, Information and Computation Explanation as to why conference is superior to comparator: MFPS has h5-index 13, whereas WOLLIC has h5-index 11. Significantly more PC members of MFPS regularly publish at top A* conferences. Link to comparator report: http://portal.core.edu.au/core/media/conference_submission_2020/Data_Comparator_for_1180_309.pdf Comparator Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science Explanation as to why conference is superior to comparator: FST&TCS is a much bigger conference than MFPS (it accepts roughly 3 times as many papers), but both conferences have the same h5-index of 13. This shows that, although FST&TCS publishes a good share of excellent work, having a paper accepted to MFPS is on average a better achievement. Both conferences attract similar numbers of PC members who regularly publish at top A* conferences, but - again - MFPS achieves that with a significantly smaller PC.
