Mohegan Sun’s “Casino of the Wind” Opened August 29th, 2008 Project Description

DESCRIPTION:The 64,000 square-foot Casino of the Wind is located adjacent to Casino of the Sky and features 45,000 square feet of new gaming space, a 16,000 square-foot ’s restaurant and retail outlet and a 60-seat Chief’s Deli quick-service food outlet.

DESIGN FEATURES: Drawing inspiration from solar phenomena, artistic representations of some of the Mohegan Tribe’s most timeless traditions are highlighted, including the spirits of the four winds: north, south, east and west. • In Tribal traditions, the power of wind harkens back to the Creation Story • A 35-foot high, 50-foot wide electronic and animated water wall acts as an immense projection screen • Feature bar is surrounded by a 35-foot stacked solid glass clad column and theme lights • Customized chandeliers

MARGARITAVILLE: Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, a multi-level restaurant, takes diners from the woodlands of Connecticut to the warm beaches of the Florida Keys. • 16,000 square feet, seating approximately 375 • Terrace overlooking the Thames River, making it the only venue with a waterfront view at Mohegan Sun • Live music and video programming • Retail outlet • Décor includes tiki huts, palm trees, sailboats and marine life, as well as a 30-foot spinning waterspout and 8-foot tall giant blender • Menu items include , Wings, Calypso Mahi Mahi and Key Lime Pie • Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville at Mohegan Sun is the only location in New England

CHIEF’S DELI The 2,600 square-foot quick-service restaurant returns to Mohegan Sun after a two year hiatus. • Seating is available for 60 guests • The walk-up restaurant features soups, salads, lox, grilled and cold sandwiches, desserts and a sandwich honoring late Mohegan Tribal Chief Ralph Sturges

POKER: Mohegan Sun introduces a 42-table poker room located at the rear of Casino of the Wind. • Games including Omaha, Texas Hold’Em and Seven-Card Stud • Over twenty-three 50-inch television screens are intricately placed throughout the room • A step up from the main floor is a semi-private 7- table high limit poker area • As part of Casino of the Wind’s grand opening, one of the largest prize pools on the East Coast will be featured with Mohegan Sun’s Super Stack Tournament on October 1st; the finals will be played from October 22nd through the 26th

GAMING: Casino of the Wind features 45,000 square feet of gaming space and compliments Mohegan Sun’s current 300,000 square feet of gaming space. • Over 650 new slot machines including new titles from slot manufacturers IGT, WMS, Bally and Aristocrat • Approximately 28 additional table games have been added including 20 Blackjack tables, 1 ADA Blackjack (handicapped) table, 3 Craps tables and 4 Roulette tables.
