Fazenda Santa Clara is located in the municipality of Caldazinha-Goiás, in central Brazil in the Cerrado Biome. The survey and monitoring of birds has been taking place since 2007, when more than 180 species of birds were catalogued in an area of 147ha. The bird community is composed of resident, endemic and migratory birds. Among these, we can highlight Antilophia galeata and Cyanocorax cristatellus, restricted to the Cerrado Biome, and seasonal species such as Tachybaptus dominicus, Ictinia plumbea, Elanoides forficatus, Colonia colonus, Griseotyrannus aurantioatrocristatus, Tyrannus savana, Myiodynastes maculatus, Pyrocephalus rubinus, Turdus amaurochalinus and Turdus rufiventris. This guide is intended to illustrate the majority of birds that have been recorded in the region.
