INTERNATIONAL LURE COURSING COMPETITION
from May 22nd to May 23rd 2021

Venue: Nørresundby, North Jutland
Admittance: All Sighthounds breeds (group 10) with a valid license card are permitted including certain breeds from group 5, (limited to Pharaoh Hound, Cirneco dell’Etna, Podenco Ibicenco, Podenco Canario.) In addition, there will be National coursing for Podengo Portugues, Basenji, Whippets and Italian greyhounds who do not fulfill the requirements regarding the height of the breeds according to the FCI regulations 1.4.2.
Schedule: Saturday: Whippet International and National, Italian greyhound International and National, and Azawakh, Cirneco dell’Etna, Podengo Portugues, Podenco Ibicenco, Podenco Canario, Basenji, Pharaoh Hound. Sunday: Afghan hound, Irish Wolfhound, Borzoi, Scottish Deerhound, Chart Polski, Saluki, Greyhound, Sloughi, Magyar Agar, Galgo Espanol. Note: This is subject to change depending on entry numbers. Changes will be announced on website: myndeklubben.dk and a PM by latest May 2nd.
Start time: At 8.30 am. Licenses must be handed to the secretary/check in from 07.00 to 08.00 am Foreign dogs who have not earlier participated in a competition or dog show in Denmark, must submit a copy of the dog’s pedigree together with the license book.

Entry registration: When the maximum number of 200 registered dogs has been reached, or latest by May 1st. 2021.
Prizes/awards: The three best dogs in every breed will be awarded a prize. CACIL is given according to FCI regulations. Note: To achieve CACIL, documentation must be shown that the dog has achieved at least a VG at an International FCI exhibition. This documentation must be shown together with the license book at check in.
Awards ceremony: Half an hour after the last run. Muzzles: All dogs must wear Lure coursing muzzles when on the field. Participants must bring their own muzzles.
Racing jackets: Dogs must wear red or white racing jackets. The colour each dog is to wear will be shown on the start lists.
Terrain: Grass fields with natural obstacles.
Limit of responsibility: Neither the race director nor its officials can be held responsible for damages on dog owners, dogs or officials. In addition, they have no responsibility regarding stray or runaway dogs. The owner of a dog is not responsible if his dog injures another dog during a race. In all other cases, the dog owner has the full responsibility for his or her dog.
Doping: All types of doping are forbidden according to FCI regulations 1.10 and regulations by Danish Kennel Club: Doping - Dkk.dk
Membership: The dog owner must be a member of the Danish Sighthound Club. Foreigner owners must be a member of their equivalent foreign club.
Vaccinations: The dog must be vaccinated in accordance with the rules in force at any given time: Vaccination & titertest - Dkk.dk Documentation of vaccination must be brought. Furthermore, foreign dogs must also be vaccinated against rabies according to the regulations in Danish law.
Veterinarian: There will be a Veterinarian present each day according to the FCI regulations 1.2 and 7.4.
Camping: There is an area for camping available from Friday to Monday at 10.00. Price 100 DKK. There is water and toilets, but no electricity. Registration and payment for camping should be made at the same time as registration of the dog via Nemtilmeld. For payment on site: 150 DKK in cash.
