International Star Of Disney’s ‘Frozen’ To Perform

One Off West End Spectacular With Special Guests

This July musical theatre luminary Willemijn Verkaik will perform a one off concert at The Cambridge Theatre in the heart of London’s West End, joined by a host of special guest stars and an 8-piece live band.

In a follow up to her critically acclaimed 2015 sold out solo concert in The Ambassadors Theatre, Willemijn makes a triumphant return to the stage, performing as herself in a celebration of the most iconic songs that have defined her career to date, as well as showcasing some never before performed material alongside her friends and fellow leading lights of musical theatre.

Originally from The Netherlands, Willemijn Verkaik rose to fame as the voice of German and Dutch version of Disney’s Blockbuster ‘Frozen’. She is currently playing Elphaba as part of the 10 year anniversary cast of in the West End. She has played the role in 4 countries and after making her Broadway debut in 2013, is the only actress to have performed the role in three languages.

Before returning to the West End, Willemijn played a successful run as Kala in Disney’s Musical Tarzan in Germany. Other credits include Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Paulina), Mamma Mia (Donna), Elisabeth (Elisabeth), We Will Rock You (Killer Queen), Aida (Amneris).

Special guests on the night will include current and past Glindas joining Willemijn for an exclusive collaboration; Celinde Schoenmaker, Suzie Mathers and Savannah Stevenson, as well as musical theatre favourite and Oliver award nominee Tyrone Huntley (Dreamgirls, Sister Act, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Book Of Mormon, Memphis).

This unique West End spectacular will create a magical atmosphere for the audience in the remarkable setting of Covent Garden’s Cambridge Theatre, a potentially legendary event to be enjoyed by the worlds biggest musical fans and curious newcomers alike.
