Friday March 3, 8:30pm-12:30am SOUL STATION FEATURING JEVON MCGLORY Friday March 10, 8:30pm-12:30am Jevon is known for his single “He Said” with Cycle Records and as the opening act for SOUL STATION FEATURING NIC JACKSON big-name artists such as Smokey Robinson, the late Great Natalie Cole, Al Green and the wonderful Aretha Franklin. TJ grew up in South Central LA, and his mom encouraged him to get into music to avoid gang violence. In that enlightened upstate environment, he got involved with vibrant local music. After moving to Pasadena in the late ‘80s, Arnay soon became connected in the Los Angeles jazz world. He recorded and composed, Daddy’s Groove (1997). Blues...and Then Some (2003), a trio project with drummer Dave Tull and bassist Larry Steen.
