The fight pits undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather against Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao for the long awaited WBO Welterweight Title fight. Pacquiao, one of the most popular athletes in the world, is the first and only eight-division champion and current WBO Welterweight Champion, regaining the title from a rematch with desert native Timothy Bradley. He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).
