Game Notes brought to you by: TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the Stockton Heat tonight for the fifth time this season and for the third time at the Budweiser Events Center. THE SEASON SERIES – The Heat leads the season series with a record of 3-0-0-1 through the first four meetings of the season. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – This will be the fifth meeting between Colorado and Stockton, as the two teams will face off a total of eight times this season. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (2/2) – Colorado forward Andrew Agozzino scored the game-winning goal with just three seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Eagles to a 5-4 victory over the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday. Five different Colorado skaters found the back of the net, while Spencer Martin collected his second-consecutive win in net, stopping 44 of the 48 shots he faced. HEAT’S LAST GAME (2/2) – San Jose scored two goals in the third period to defeat Stockton, 4-2 on Saturday. Barracuda goalie Antoine Bibeau made 28 saves on 30 shots to earn the win in net. Heat forwards Spencer Foo and Anthony Peluso each netted a goal in the defeat. LAST MEETING (1/21) –Eagles goaltender Spencer Martin stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced and denied three of Stockton’s five shooters in a shootout to help propel the Eagles to a 2-1 victory over the Heat. A.J. Greer netted Colorado’s lone goal in regulation, while the Eagles penalty kill rose to the occasion to finish 5-for-6 against a Stockton power-play unit that came into the afternoon ranked fourth in the American Hockey League.
