The participation fee depends on the date of payment:  participation with presentation and publication, or participation without presentation (including lunch, coffee breaks and festive dinner):

payment before or on 3rd September 2020 – PLN 500 / € 120 payment after 4th September 2020 – PLN 550 / € 135

 article publication without participating in the conference – PLN 250 / € 50 Bank details for payments are given in the application form.

Presentations may be given in Polish or English. The participants are asked to prepare concise digital presentations in English – this is an obligatory re- quirement. Simultaneous translation from Polish to English will be provided.

To participate in the conference, it is necessary to fill in the application form, send it to the address [email protected], and make a payment at the indicated date.

The deadline for registration is 15th September 2020.

During the conference, an exhibition of scientific books will take place. We will present you books issued by the publishing houses Difin, Adam Mar- szałek, and Research and Publishing Institute for Security and Defence Studies WSBPI „Apeiron” in Krakow. Participants will also have an oppor- tunity to visit the Erasmus+ information desk. We also invite you to partici- pate in a poster session (more information can be found in the attachment).

Conference proceedings

After the conference, submitted proceedings article that receive positive re- views will be published in journals issued by WSBPI “Apeiron”:

 articles submitted in English will be intended for publication in “Security Dimensions” half-yearly (publication in the journal is award- ed 20 points by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education),  articles submitted in Polish will be intended for publication in „Kultura Bezpieczeństwa” half-yearly (publication in the journal is awarded 5 points by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education).

We additionally invite students and Ph.D. candidates to submit articles to the journal of Security Systems Research Circle at WSBPI “Apeiron” in Krakow – “Security, Economy & Law” half-yearly (publication in the journal is awarded 5 points by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education).

In order to publish a proceedings article, the author has to pay the conference fee (see section Participation fee payment terms) and their article has to re- ceive two positive reviews. The decision about the publication of the article is made by Conference Scientific Committe.

Formal requirements

Manuscript length & page format

The Editorial Team accepts articles at least 10 normalised pages in length (12 pts, Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 cm standard margins). Articles should be submitted in formats supported by Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf). The Editorial Team reserves the right to abridge and edit submissions.

Language version

Articles must be written in English or Polish. In case of articles in Polish, all article metadata (abstract, keywords, references etc.) must be provided in two versions: Polish and English.
