Soon UTN will expect all of its teachers to be certified as a result of their ongoing investment in training to improve teaching standards throughout the university system. UTN Exclusive Tax Revenue Project The establishment of UTN required strong mechanisms be put in place to ensure university goals could be realized and then maintained on a long-term basis. The most important of those mechanisms is, of course, the budget. Government grants have been the primary contributor to a successful balanced budget, and have supported... (rest of sentence). However, this public funding will not continue providing such accomplishments ad infinitum. Chancellor Marcelo Prieto has proposed the strengthening of the institutional budget with the enactment of a government law to allow an exclusive tax revenue system for the UTN. This project would establish an increase of $5 in the departure tax. Four dollars out of this five dollar fee will be allocated to the UTN. The other dollar is contributed to the strengthening of the professional technical schools of the country. This initiative was presented to the legislative authorities on October 29th, 2012, and the Special Commission of Science, Technology and Education of the Legislative Assembly unanimously approved the final document on September 3rd, 2013. In brief, UTN is close to achieve this major goal after strenuous efforts for over a year. This will indefinitely support the development of the university to ultimately offer a technical education of excellence with more opportunities for the students. 4 Aerosmith in Costa Rica On October 1st, American legendary rock band, Aerosmith returned to the stage for the third time in Costa Rica at the National Stadium. The concert was part of the band‘s Global Warming Tour, which began in 2012. The group has already performed more than 60 concerts worldwide as part of the tour. Classics like: ―Dream On‖, ―Janie´s Got a Gun‖, ―Amazing‖ accompanied new hits from their new album "Music From Another Dimension", in what proved to be a Night of Rock at its best. The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton, originally in a band together called the Jam Band, met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Aerosmith. In 1971, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford, and the band began developing a following in Boston. And why does it happen? Basically the government shutdown is a result of the inability of members of Congress to approve the budget. Because of this government shutdown, 800,000 government workers will be placed on involuntary unpaid leave. National Parks and National Monuments will be closed until further notice, and services such as the US Postal Service and the Department of Immigration will have to subsist on their profit-making activities, like selling stamps and issuing passports.

This is particularly illuminating given the highly competitive environment in which tour operators’ work, where they are under pressure to maximise the use of the natural resources before they deteriorate beyond use or, disappear completely. The study examined the websites of tour operators who operate in the Great Barrier Reef, Greenland and Mount Kilimanjaro and found that only a small proportion of tour operators currently use such techniques to promote their products. However, the operators that do have recently developed tours to allow tourists to experience the impact of global warming first hand and provide those tourists with opportunities to contribute financially and/or in kind to the conservation of the region. Areas of future research are identified.     AEROSMITH ALBUM REVIEW ABOUT THE BAND Aerosmith is an old band that plays a variety of rock genres like heavy metal, hard rock and blues rock. They’re mostly known for their descriptive songs, some touch up on some questionable topics. Lyric wise, they don’t hide anything. Their songs have very suggestive lyrics and some innuendos here and there. They were super popular in the late 1970s and the early 1980s. Their attitude seems more relaxed and down to earth. Some of their songs are great inspiration. For example, there’s “Dream On”, their first big hit. Most of their songs are one that really get your feet tapping to the beat, but Dream On isn’t like that. If you like music that’s up beat and cool at the same time, Aerosmith is definitely a band you’d enjoy. MEMBERS • Steven Tyler – Creator of the band and lead vocalist. But their first album was still seen by the music industry. They came in, and they came in with a good start.     WHITFORD/ST. HOLMES BRAD WHITFORD & DEREK ST. HOLMES "We loved the idea of being in a rock band that’s really about the music, not about personalities,” explains guitarist Brad Whitford. “We don’t have to worry about a Steven Tyler or Ted Nugent or anybody else. We’ve all been guys in a more supporting role in big bands,” he says of Whitford/St. Holmes--Aerosmith and Nugent, respectively, of course--“so an opportunity like this is really rare, where everyone brings so much talent and excitement and openness to the table.” The quintet, rounded out by Tesla drummer Troy Lucketta, bassist Chopper Anderson and keyboardist Buck Johnson, are “all old-school rockers, super-passionate about rock ‘n’ roll, the music that moved us as teenagers,” says Whitford. In fact, the first single from their June 2016 Reunion album (Mailboat Records), the muscular, catchy album kick-off, “Shapes,” even nods to the Yardbirds. Reunion’s nine songs are packed with ‘70s swagger and hooks—and some sweetness on songs like “Tender is the Night.” The school-of-hard-knocks throwback rock approach, seamlessly melded with modern-day production and sensibility, makes for instantly-classic FM radio rock for the new millennium. “Flood of Lies” might be Aerosmith circa Get Your Wings, St. Holmes’ stellar, powerful voice at once bluesily emotive and powerfully crystal clear; the boogie-blues of “Hot for You” is a playful-dirty sing-along, while “Shake It” is a ballsy bluesy romp not unlike AC/DC meet the Police.
