2015 got off to a brilliant start for the operators of ’s iconic red sightseeing buses with a five star award from VisitScotland.Having carried out mystery visits to grade the tours, VisitScotland representatives emphatically awarded the tour their highest grading for tourist attractions sighting the quality of the vehicles, tour content and friendly staff as the key reasons for the award.

Commenting on the award, Donald Booth, Manager of City Sightseeing Glasgow says:

“2014 was a great year for Glasgow and we loved playing a part in showing visitors just what the city has to offer.To cap this with the award and recognition of our efforts in providing a high quality service that caters to visitors to the city makes us all very proud.

“This summer we’re actually improving the service we provide by increasing our normal 15 minute frequency to every 10 minutes during July and August, allowing more flexibility for those hopping on and off at one of our 28 stops along route, which should result in even more happy customers!”

VisitScotland were also delighted to give City Sightseeing Glasgow the award.
