Grab your favorite lawn chair and picnic dinner and head to the Proesel Park Shelter for our free evening concerts. On August 3, Maddrum Sonando will entertain you with the cool sounds of Caribbean and Latin music. Wind Gypsys will play a back to school blow- out on August 17 with favorites by The Rolling Stones to the Hokey Pokey and everything in between!

City-Style Lunch Bunch—RL Restaurant Lunch Bunch is hitting the road! The August choice is RL Restaurant. Located adjacent to the world's largest Ralph Lauren store, the Chicago Flagship on Michigan Avenue, RL Res- taurant represents Ralph Lauren's debut into the restaurant industry. Opened in 1999, the restaurant features the vision and décor of Ralph Lauren and modern city-club cuisine.

The food is inspired by American classics - seafood, steaks, chops, salads and sandwiches - a menu that stands apart from fashion and trends. Some of the more popular items are prepared tableside. tation in Rubloff Auditorium on "Windows on the War: Soviet TASS Posters at Home and Abroad, 1941–1945" with Department of Prints & Drawings research associate Jill Bugajski and exhibition assistant Molly Zimmerman-Feeley. You will also have a chance to visit a se- lection of objects in the galleries, where volunteer presenters will lead short discussions until 2:30 p.m. The small, informal talks are enhanced with souvenir postcards. Performances, demonstrations and lunch are included in the day’s events.

Cars have changed. So have the traffic rules, driving conditions and the roads you travel every day. Some drivers age 55+ have never looked back since they got their first driver's licenses, but even the most experienced benefit from brushing up on their driving skills.

By taking this course, you can expect to learn current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate your vehicle more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment. You’ll learn to adjust to accommodate age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
