Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have been driving the UK funky sound since 2010. In the years since Disclo- sure’s launch, they made it to the top of UK pop charts, secured a Grammy nomi- nation, and collaborated with many award-wining artists on a handful of singles and EPs. In Moscow, the closest venue for large electronic shows is Spokane’s Knit- ting Factory, where 1,500 ravers turn up to see the latest electronic artist make their way through the Northwest. Dis- closure brought their house party vibe to knit; a taste of future garage that is rarely seen this far from the UK. The gig opened with T. Williams, an iconic garage Producer and DJ who’s played for Resident Advisor Podcast and BBC Radio One in his 12 years of DJing. Williams’ set the stage for Disclosure, playing his club edit of Disclosure’s sin- gle Latch, alongside many other Garage Funk choones. Disclosure’s set went of in a much diferent fashion than most EDM raves held at the Knit. No one was tearing out hair to intense drops that push the limit of the venue’s system. People were actually dancing, and it felt like a party.
