That’s the way to make genuine connections that will help you in a campaign,” she advised. OWLS members and friends modeled business, casual, evening, and professional attire to the delight of a standing-room-only crowd. Following the fashion show, Dr. Martens hosted a private event in the store, providing Huber’s famous Spanish coffees, Typhoon appetizers, and desserts from Saint Cupcake. This annual event attracts more people every year, and attendees and models range from law students to longtime members. Star attractions included models Dave Markowitz, a founding partner of Markowitz Herbold Glade & Mehlhaf, and Karen O’Connor, a partner at Barran Liebman. Models had personalized hair styles created by Kelsie Britton and her fellow stylists from New Vintage Beauty Lounge.
