Miller’s 21 points were also the most points scored by a Cavalier on all three-pointers. The previous club record for such a thing was 15 points, done five times by , twice by Daniel Gibson and once by Alonzo Gee. (Elias Sports Bureau)

COMEBACK KINGS: On the season, the Cavs have won after overcoming eight double-digit deficits (trailed by 12 points vs. New Orleans on 11/10, 19 points at Boston on 11/14, 11 points vs. Milwaukee 12/2, 11 points at New York on 12/4, 14 points vs. Toronto on 12/9, 11 points vs. Brooklyn on Dec. 19, 10 points at Orlando on 12/26, 11 points at Charlotte on 1/2). On Nov. 14, the Cavs overcame a 17-point fourth quarter deficit by outscoring the 38-20 in the final frame to pick up the 122-121 win on the road. The Wine and Gold trailed by as many as 19 points in the period. The last time Cleveland overcame a fourth quarter deficit by that much was March 10, 2009 against the L.A. Clippers (19-point deficit). (Elias Sports Bureau)

BLACKJACK: The Cavaliers scored the first 21 points of their 97-88 win over Charlotte on Dec. 15. The last NBA team to score at least the first 21 points of a game was Portland, who opened up a 22-0 lead against Boston on February 21, 2004. (Elias Sports Bureau)

GLASS CLEANERS: In the Cavs’ first ever win at the Barclays Center on Dec. 8, the Cavs outrebounded the Nets by 22 (55-33), their largest margin on the glass since Feb. 28, 2014 vs. Utah (+25, 56-31). Three Cavaliers pulled down at least 12 rebounds in the win (Love-14, Varejao-14, Thompson-12), which was the first time that has happened since Jan. 3, 1984 against Milwaukee (Jeff Cook-12, Paul Thompson-13, Lonnie Shelton-12). Thompson (8 offensive) and Varejao (7 offensive) became the first pair of Cavs to pull down at least seven offensive boards in a game since Nov. 7, 2006 vs. (Zydrunas Ilgauskas-7, Drew Gooden-7). (Elias Sports Bureau)

DOUBLING UP: In a 105-91 victory at Toronto on Dec. 5, The Wine and Gold had three players record a double-double (James-24 pts & 13 asts, Love-15 pts & 13 rebs, Thompson-21 pts & 14 rebs) for the 2nd time this season (11/29/14 vs. Indiana). But it was the first time since Jan. 30, 2005 that three Cavs players had a double-double with at least 15 points (Drew Gooden, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Jeff McInnis vs. Milwaukee). The Cavs would later repeat this feat during a 108-94 win against Chicago on Jan. 19 when Love (16 pts/12 rebs), Timofey Mozgov (15 pts/15 rebs) and Kyrie Irving (18pts/12 asts) each garnered a double-double. (Elias Sports Bureau)

PUT 20 ON THE SCOREBOARD: In the Nov. 17 game against the Denver Nuggets, the Cavaliers had four players score 20 or more points (James - 22, Irving - 20, Love - 20 and Waiters - 20) for the first time since March 3, 2004 at Dallas (James - 28, Ilgauskas - 26, Boozer - 23, Nailon - 23). In the 111-108 win over Milwaukee on Dec. 2, the Wine and Gold had three players score 26 points or more (Irving-28, Love-27 and James-26). The last time that feat was accomplished in a single game was Dec. 29, 2006 when James (32), Donyell Marshall (29) and Larry Hughes (26) each scored more than 26 in a 109-99 victory at home, which was also against the Bucks. (Elias)

A BUNCH OF FIVES: Against the Hawks on Nov. 15, Cleveland dished out a season-high 39 assists, which were two shy of tying the Quicken Loans Arena record (41 vs. Detroit on 4/9/14). Five Cavs players dished out at least five or more assists (Waiters-8, James-7, Irving-5, Love-5, Varejao-5). The last time a Cavaliers squad was able to accomplish that was on Jan. 4, 1997 vs. Indiana (Bob Sura-7, Bobby Phills-5, Chris Mills-5, Danny Ferry-5, -5). (Elias Sports Bureau)

RAINING THREES: In the Cavs’ win over Atlanta on Nov. 15, Cleveland had a record-setting night from the three-point line after shooting 19-31 (.613) from deep. • The Wine and Gold set a franchise record (19) and tied a Quicken Loans Arena record (Orlando 19 triples, 12/28/10) for three-pointers in a game. • The Cavs connected on their first 11 three-pointers, becoming the first NBA team to complete that feat since Detroit hit their first 11 triples at Denver on 3/21/2012. (Elias Sports Bureau) • The Cavaliers went 9-for-9 from three-point range in the first quarter, which are the most three-point field goals made without a miss for one team in one quarter since the NBA added the three-point shot in 1979-80. (Elias Sports Bureau) • The Cavs’ .613 mark from the three-point line was a season-high. • Eight Cavs players made at least one three-pointer. • Four Cavs players made at least three three-pointers (James-4, Irving-4, Harris-4, Love-3), which was the first time that feat was accomplished by the Cavs since Jan. 1, 2012 vs. the Nets (Jamison-3, Irving-3, Gee-3, Gibson-5). (Elias Sports Bureau) • Three Cavs players made at least four three-pointers, which was the first time that feat was accomplished in franchise history. (Elias Sports Bureau) • The 127 points scored on the night were the most the Cavs have scored in regulation since Dec. 11, 1999, also against the Hawks.

TWO OF A KIND: In the 118-111 win over New Orleans on Nov. 10, Kyrie Irving and LeBron James each Teammates with at least 32 pts, 9 asts, 5 rebs posted a stat line of 32 points and nine assists, becoming the first ever duo in Cavs history to tally those each in same game (since 1985-86) numbers in the same game. The last NBA teammates to record at least 32 points and nine assists was Players Game Minnesota’s Ricky Davis (35 pts, 9 asts) and Kevin Garnett (33 pts, 10 asts) on March 4, 2007 vs. Boston and 1. KYRIE IRVING & LEBRON JAMES (CLE) vs. Pelicans 11/10/14 that game went into two overtimes. (Elias Sports Bureau) 2. Kendall Gill & Robert Pack (NJN) Vs. Magic (1/13/97) 3. Michael Jordan & Scottie Pippen (CHI) At Celtics (3/31/91)

SOLID AT THE FOUL LINE: At Utah on Nov. 5, Cleveland shot 34-40 (.850) from the free throw line, which was its highest percentage with at least 34 made free throws since Nov. 30, 2005 vs. L.A. Clippers (40-47, .851). Also against Utah, LeBron James (12-12 FTs), Kevin Love (9-11 FTs) and Kyrie Irving (8-10 FTs) became the first trio of Cavs players to have at least 10 free throw attempts in the same game since Feb. 15, 2007 vs. L.A. Lakers (LeBron James, Larry Hughes and Eric Snow). (Elias Sports Bureau)

IRVING NAMED 2014 USA BASKETBALL MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR: After helping to lead USA Basketball to a gold medal at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and earning tournament MVP honors along the way, Kyrie Irving was named the 2014 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year. The USA Basketball Board of Directors is responsible for selecting its annual award winners. As a member of the 2014 USA Basketball World Cup Team, Irving started in all nine games and averaged 12.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 24.4 minutes per game to help lead the USA to a 9-0 record and gold medal from Aug. 30-Sept. 14 in Bilbao, Barcelona and Madrid, Spain. The first-place finish qualified the USA for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. Irving was named MVP after a gold-medal-game performance that saw him score a game-high 26 points and record four assists while shooting 10-of-13 from the field, including a USA World Cup record 6-of-6 from 3-point. The 2014 gold medal was Irving's first title in senior-level international competition, and his second gold medal overall with USA Basketball. USA Basketball's Male Athlete of the Year Award was established in 1980 to recognize a USA Basketball athlete who, during the year of the award, made a significant impact on the success of his team's performance.
