15th NRN Meeting 19-20 September 2019 Poitiers - France PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Date This event will take place in Poitiers on the 19th and 20th of September 2019.

Language The working language will be English (19th) and French (the 20th) but interpretation will be provided in both languages both days.

Day 1 – Thursday 19 September (NRN Meeting) 08:30 - 09:00 Registration 09:00 - 12:30 Morning sessions 14:00 - 17:00 Afternoon sessions 18:30 - 19:30 Guided tour of Poitiers* 20:00 - Dinner hosted by the French NRN

Day 2 – Friday 20 September (Meeting of the French Regional Rural Networks) 08:45 - 09:00 Registration 09:00 - 12:30 Morning sessions 12:30 - 17:00 Field trip of projects sustained by EU policies 17:00 – Arrival of the shuttle at Poitiers station (city centre)

*The organisers invite you to discover the historic heart of the city, during a guided tour of the Cathedral’s quarter. After this, we may share a dinner, hosted by the French NRN.

By train / Par le train

By Train Poitiers is served by the TGV Atlantic, with a station in the city center and another in Futuroscope. Located at 1h30 from Paris, 1h45 from Bordeaux, 3h50 from Lyon and 3h15 from Lille, the agglomeration of Poitiers boasts enviable geographic reach. When you come out of the train station, allow 15 minutes' walk to get to the “Maison de la Région”, place of the meeting.

La ville de Poitiers est desservie par le TGV Atlantique, avec une gare en centre-ville et une autre au Parc du Futuroscope. A présent, une ligne TER relie Poitiers au Parc du Futuroscope en moins de 10 min. Située à 1h30 de Paris, 1h45 de Bordeaux, 3h50 de Lyon et 3h15 de Lille, l’agglomération de Poitiers bénéficie d’un rayonnement géographique enviable. Depuis la gare, comptez 15 minutes de marche pour accéder à la Maison de la Région, lieu de la rencontre.
