The fun begins at 12p.m. and runs until 4p.m. on the CBS Studio Center Back Lot in Studio City, Calif., with all proceeds going toward leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. Ken Bunt, President of Disney Music Group, will be honored with the Humanitarian Award at the family-friendly event. Bunt oversees all of The Walt Disney Company's recorded music and music publishing operations including Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records and Disney Music Publishing. The performing music artists announced for the annual event are no strangers to the Disney family. Besides starring in “Pretty Little Liars,” Hale has appeared on numerous Disney shows, while Ross Lynch of R5 is best known for his role as Austin in “Austin & Ally” and Sabrina Carpenter is making people laugh regularly on the new hit show “Girl Meets World.” Collectively, the music sensations entertain millions worldwide via the stage and on TV. "The T.J. Martell Foundation does such important work and Ken Bunt has been so supportive in my musical journey, that I'm completely honored and thrilled to be a part of the day," says Hale. Hale is best known as “Aria” on ABC Family’s hit show “Pretty Little Liars” and now is embracing her southern roots with the release of her first country album, The Road Between, which released through DMG Nashville/Hollywood Records earlier this summer. R5 has been busy selling out shows across the globe playing songs from their chart-topping debut album Louder and new EP Heart Made Up On You. The band is currently on a headlining U.S. Tour and will release their sophomore album in early 2015. The five siblings have been longtime supporters and attendees of Family Day but this is the first year they will be part of the headlining acts. “We went to the T.J. Most successfully, ABC Family uses Twitter to promote the teen drama Pretty Little Liars through the use of hashtags and celebrity interactions. This study analyzes Pretty Little Liars’ use of hashtags created by the network and by actors from the show. It examines how the Pretty Little Liars’ official accounts engage fans about their opinions on the show and encourage further discussion. Fans use the network- generated hashtags within their tweets to react to particular scenes and to hopefully be noticed by managers of official show accounts.

    From a young age Sabrina Carpenter already had a clear command on what she intended to do with her life: she wanted to sing. “We have video of me in my kitchen. I was so young and was singing ‘God Bless America’,” the effervescent Carpenter recalls. She was too little to even pronounce all the words correctly, but she knew the performance felt right. “I know a lot of people don’t know what they want to do when they’re that young,” she says in a grand understatement, “but I had a pretty good idea and my heart was pretty much set on it.” In the years since, Carpenter, 15, has never wavered in her desire and ambition. While her talents have expanded into acting— she plays the rebellious Maya Hart on Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World” and is starring in the upcoming Disney Channel original movie “Adventures in Babysitting” — music remains her first love. Her passion is evident on her full-length album debut, Eyes Wide Open. The Hollywood Records release is an upbeat collection of uplifting, infectious, well-crafted pop songs, many of them co-written by Carpenter, and all delivered in her expressive, appealing soprano. While hitting up the red carpet at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, the 19-year-old teased new music, starting with her next single. “I just may have teased the next song coming in a couple, I don’t wanna say days, I don’t wanna say hours… I don’t wanna say minutes, but soon,” she revealed to Billboard before the awards show. “Very soon.” Soon, you guys. So soon, in fact, that she’s since posted about the single, titled “Exhale,” on her Instagram! “exhale,” she wrote. “A little track from act 2. Everywhere tonight at midnight.” OMG. NGL, we’re probably the most excited we’ve ever been for her to put out something new. Plus, we’re not alone! The Girl Meets World actress revealed she’s just as stoked as we are for the “Exhale” to come out, which is partially due to the fact that it’s the most deep and personal track she’s ever released. “I’m very excited for everyone to hear it,” she said. “I think this song that I’m releasing is probably my most personal song, which is exciting.” NGL, we can’t wait to hear Sabrina get a little more personal — especially since it’ll give fans a more honest and vulnerable window into her life.
