My keen interest in their products stem from a time long before I started writing reviews for Affordable$$Audio and I am happy today to finally have a chance to satisfy my desire to explore some of the fine products. Audience has been around since 1997 starting out under the guidance of its two co-founders, John McDonald and the late Richard Smith. Although Audience is known for its fabulous cables they also make a new line of loudspeakers, power amplifiers, pre- amplifiers, power conditioners, loudspeaker drivers, a disc treatment system, and of course their famous high resolu- tion capacitors. Having had the pleasure of talking to Mr. McDonald on the phone I can say he has both a wealth of knowledge and a great deal of enthusiasm for his products. He was kind enough to offer to outfit my entire system with Audience cables in order that I might get the full effect of using his products. I was sent four power cords, for the power conditioning strips and mono block amplifiers, a three meter length of speaker cables and three sets of inter- connects. -

Uncork The Blues: Mindi Abair's CD Release is a Toast to Spring By Lynn Orman Weiss Combining blues and booze is like spring and flowers – they bring happiness and joy to the soul. During the pandemic, Can't Stop The Blues Livestream brought together a beautiful community by producing concerts featuring artists from around the world with audiences watching worldwide. The broadcasts into our homes, along with pre-show and post-show "meet & greets" in real time, has kept blues lovers sane. Tuesday night's show, Mindi Abair's Wine + Music Sessions was addictive – it's one of the CSTB’s that’s hard to miss – or if you miss any of it you want to go back and watch it again. The best part is uncorking a bottle of wine and chillaxing on Mindi's Hollywood backporch with her A-list guests. Guests have included, Rick Estrin, Rick Braun, Melanie Taylor (Aerosmith), Peter White, Casey Abrams, Patrick Bradley and most recently, rockantaur Bill Champlin. "Good Day For The Blues" is the mantra for Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers and they’ll have a good day April 9th when they do their first livestream, full-band concert at 5pm PDT on Alert The Globe to celebrate her new release, The Best of Mindi Abair. Mindi will be playing her biggest hits including the debut of her brand new single, "April," all part of the 19-song collection. The Legacy of Leadership is Persistent with the Class having Leadership like Ron Lazar, supported by his lovely bride Lilliane and 32 other helping hands, 1953 had an 80.4% Participation tally in the 2015 Dartmouth College Fund drive, an awesome achievement. Many were involved, but leadership and persistence were motivated by our leader Ron and Lilliane, and 32 teammates that Ron has dubbed Team Terrific, helping hands that led to this extraordinary achievement to sustain the Legacy of 1953. Details of this fabulous achievement follow. Mark Smoller’s Class Notes for the Alumni Magazine in the fall. “It was not, “So long!”, but “See ya later!” at a send-off gathering for Bonnie and Dave Siegal. Thirty-three classmates and their wives and widows gathering at Kendall to wish the Siegal’s well. After many years of on the scene, service to the Class and the College, Bonnie and Dave are leaving for Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will be missed in Hanover. We look forward to seeing them as they return for various events, and wish them good luck in their new digs.
