For more information visit tourofbritain.co.uk or visiteastlothian.org/tour-of-britain2017 #OVOToB is coming to EAST LOTHIAN Stage 1 Edinburgh to Kelso On Sunday 3rd September the UK’s largest bike race will once again visit Edinburgh before winding its way through East Lothian before finishing up in the Scottish Borders town of Kelso. The route through East Lothian starts in Musselburgh and follows Scotland’s Golf Coast Road through Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton and Longniddry before it comes inland via the county town of Haddington before going onto Pencaitland and East Saltoun. The first sprint point of the day is in Gifford with the King of the Mountain points to be had at Redstone Rig on the Lammermuirs, just before the decent towards Whiteadder Reservoir.
