Stewards Update (Final) - Issued Sunday 5Th March 2017, at 1830Hrs STEWARDS SUMMARY UPDATE OF PENALTIES 2017 DUNLOP SUPER2 SERIES – ROUND 1 Appendix Adelaide Parklands Street Circuit #2, Adelaide, South Australia DA PU 01th to 05th March 2017 Stewards Update (Final) - issued Sunday 5th March 2017, at 1830hrs Matters from Race 3; The Stewards imposed a 15 second Time Penalty post-race to Car #4 Jack Perkins for a driving infringement, Careless Driving – causing contact at Turn 14 on Car #67 Anton de Pasquale and involving Car #26 Shae Davies on the final lap. Following an investigation and an admission by Car #26, Shae Davies for a driving infringement, Careless Driving – causing contact to Car #98 Renee Gracie at Turn 14, the Stewards imposed a deduction of 15 Series Points on Car #26, Shae Davies. The Race Director investigated an allegation that Car #67 Anton de Pasquale was careless in overtaking Car #4 Jack Perkins at Turn 9, and determined that the incident did not warrant referral to the Stewards. Stewards Update #3 - issued Saturday 4rd March 2017, at 1830hrs Matters from Race 2; The Stewards imposed a Five (5) second Time Penalty on Car #67, Anton de Pasquale, for a driving infringement, Careless Driving causing contact with Car #5, Joshua Keen, at Turn 4. Following an investigation and an admission by Car #16, Bryce Fullwood, that he overtook under yellow flag conditions (Schedule D3.2), the Stewards imposed a 4 Grid Spot penalty for Race 3 on Car #16, Bryce Fulwood. Stewards Update #2 - issued Friday 3rd March 2017, at 2300hrs Matters from Race 1; The Race Director investigated an incident involving contact between Car #55, Kurt Kostecki, and Car #5, Joshua Kean, at Turns 1 & 2 on Lap 9 and determined that the matter did not warrant being referred to the Stewards. The Race Director investigated allegations that the Competitors listed below were working on their Cars after the One Minute signal contrary to Rule D9.2.6 and determined that the incidents did not warrant referral to the Stewards: Garry Rogers Motorsport – Car #99; Kostecki Brothers Racing – Car #56; Dragon Motor Racing – Cars #4 and #98; MW Motorsport – Cars # 16 and #28 P a g e | 1 INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY – NO REGULATORY VALUE STEWARDS SUMMARY UPDATE OF PENALTIES Matters from Qualifying; The Stewards imposed a fine of $5000, $3500 of which is suspended until 31 December 2017, on Eggleston Motorsport Australia Pty Ltd for a breach of Rule GNG1.5 (Competitor responsible for safety at all times), due to the driver’s right rear wheel coming loose on Car #38, William Brown. Following an investigation and an admission of a breach of Parc Ferme conditions (i.e., by plugging a laptop into a car in Parc Ferme against Rule D14.5.1) by Matthew While Motorsport, the Stewards imposed the penalty of exclusion from session on Car #16, Bryce Fulwood. Following investigations and admissions of a breach of Rule D18.2.4 covering wheels in the marshalling area prior to the beginning of the session without permission of the S&TD, the Stewards applied a 5 Progressive Grid Spot penalty, to be served in Race 1 and future Races until the penalty is served, on the following: Car #4, Jack Perkins, Car #16, Bryce Fulwood, - (5 grid spots still to be applied for Race 2) Car #26, Shae Davies, Car #28, Jack LeBrocq; and Car #98, Renee Gracie, (3 grid spots still to be applied for Race 2) The following cars had their fastest times deleted and were not permitted to take any further part in the session for causing a Red Flag (Rule 6.1.11): Car #57, Brodie Kostecki; Car #54, Nathan Morcom The Race Director investigated complaints against Gary Rogers Motorsports and Brad Jones Racing that they used a Pit Boom contrary to Rule D12.6.4 during the session and decided that the incidents did not warrant being referred to the Stewards. Stewards Update #1 - issued Thursday 2nd March 2017, at 2300hrs Matters from Practice 2; The Stewards imposed a fine of $5000, $4000 of which is suspended until 31 December 2017, on Dragon Motor Racing for a breach of Rule G1.6 (Safety at all time), due to the driver’s right front wheel coming loose on Car #98, Renee Gracie. Matters from Practice 1; The Stewards imposed a fine of $350 on Car #57, Brodie Kostecki, for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit (46kph). The Stewards imposed a Time Penalty of 5 minutes in Practice 2 on Car #35, Todd Hazelwood, for crossing the control line twice at the end of Practice 1 (Rule D3.1.4) (i.e. Car #35 must not participate in the first Five (5) minutes of Practice 2). Sunday 23rd August 2020 Matters from Race 18: Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race the RD conducted an investigation at the request of Triple Eight Race Engineering into an Incident at Turn 4 on Lap 35 when Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, overtook Car #97, Shane van Gisbergen, and contact occurred between the two Cars. After reviewing broadcast footage of the Incident and consulting the DSA, the RD determined that there was no evidence of a breach of the Rules by the Driver of Car #18. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed a 5 second Time Penalty on Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) following contact between Car #12 and Car #2, Bryce Fullwood, at Turn 14 on Lap 15 as a result of which Car #2 was pushed wide and Car #12 gained a position. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards issued the following Penalties during the Race in each case for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Shcedule B2 (Careless Driving): - A 5 second Time Penalty on Car #55, Jack le Broq, arising out of an Incident at Turn 6 on Lap 23 when Car #55 locked brakes attempting to overtake Car #15, Rick Kelly, causing contact with Car #15 as a result of which Car #55 gained a position; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #25, Chaz Mostert, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 34 when Car #25 made contact with Car #8, Nick Percat, as a result of which Car #8 spun and lost positions; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #35, Garry Jacobson, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 37 when Car #35 made contact with Car #3, Macauley Jones, which caused Car #3 to spin.

An investigation into an incident involving multiple Cars (including Car #18, #21, #26, #38, #54 and #62) was observed at Turn 2 on Lap 1, after a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Cars #5, #15, #16, #18, #21, #26, #38, #54 and #62, no Driver was found to be wholly or predominately to blame for the incident. Following an investigation into the start of the Formation Lap where Car 13 had an incident with the Car 10 on the Grid, having viewed Broadcast Footage, and in car judicial footage from Cars 10, 13, 54 and 63 neither Driver was wholly of predominantly to blame for the Incident., the RD determined the incident did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

Following a post-race DRD investigation into a report received from Supercars Technical during the Race, and an admission by Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd, that during its compulsory pit stop, Car 35’s brake lock mechanism was not engaged in compliance with Rule C11.4.2.1, the Stewards imposed a fine of $250 on Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd. Following a post-race DRD investigation (instigated following a request received from Blanchard Racing) and an admission of a breach of the Code of Driving Conduct by Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, the Stewards imposed a penalty of the addition of 5 seconds to the Race Time of Car 2 in Race 19.

Following the Session the DRD conducted an investigation at the request of Chasports Racing Pty Ltd into an allegation that Car #3, Garry Jacobsen, impeded Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, on entry to Turn 1. The DRD was also requested to investigate Car #18’s ‘kerb strike’ and loss of time on the relevant Lap. Following a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Car #18, no Breach of Rules by Car #3 was observed. Following a review of external (HawkEye) vision to corroborate the Supercars Timing System, Car #18 was found to have breached Schedule B2 Article 3.3.1 (left the Race Track at Turn 2 by reason that no part of the Car remains in contact with it).
