Page 1 Director of Athletics the coming years. The Pacesetters also form the nucleus of the Raider support at home basketball games. They enjoy Dr. Michael J. Cusack special parking privileges and have the use of a lounge at halftime and after home basketball games. Another Cusack project was the addition of 600 theatre-type seats in the basketball arena. The seats are occupied primarily by season ticket holders and they give the Physical Education Building a look of prestige. The entire athletic program has continued to grow under Cusack's leadership. This year, women's soccer was added as the seventh varsity sport for women. Last year, men's cross country and golf were reinstated to varsity status and women's cross country was added. The overall quality of the athletic teams is improving under Cusack's leadership. During the 1984-85 sports season, Wright State teams won 65.0 percent of head-to­ head contests, an improvement over the 57.3 winning percentage of the previous year. The men's swim team and the wrestling squad both placed among the top-10 at the NCAA Division II championships for the first time. The swim team placed fo urth with the help of Wright State's first two male individual national champions.
