    Workplan 2018 Background The World Water Day campaign aims to inform and engage people worldwide to support and take action on water-related issues in various contexts. The theme for 2018 is ‘Nature for Water’ and will show the potential of nature-based solutions for water and how they can be considered for water management policy and practice. The campaign is timely thanks to public discourse around sustainability and shared concern and conviction about balancing the three dimensions of sustainable development.
