Denbies is England’s largest vineyard located in 265 acres of vines, providing plenty of opportunity for hosting the perfect away day “with a difference”. The harvest is one of the most significant times in the year of the vineyard. A day of true escapism awaits you at Denbies; experience first hand a snapshot of the life of the grape. This is a rewarding and informative day, gaining an appreciation of English agriculture and production.

Transfers, lunch and wine tasting included. birDS oF prEY DiSpLAY AND hANDLiNG ExpEriENcE Price on Request dependant on length of activity A tailor-made experience, ideal for client entertainment or staff motivation. A bird of prey handling event is a great way to offer your clients or staff a fun and relaxing experience in surroundings so very different from the office. You and your guests could be watching the speeding falcon stoop to the lure, handling and flying hawks, buzzards and owls to your gloved hands, holding an eagle or feeding a vulture. The display team includes ferrets and native birds of prey so that people get the opportunity to see up close those birds that they may have seen from afar in the wild. Your group will be split into 2 teams and will work through a series of activities

Vineyard Tour (seasonal) The Outdoor Vineyard Train Tour takes visitors at a leisurely pace, through the vineyard offering magnificent panoramic views over the Vineyard and North Downs. This tour presents perfect photo opportunities together with detailed information on the vineyard and the vine growing process.

Denbies Classic Indoor Wine Experience 360º cinema tour, guided tour through the working winery, followed by a tasting of 3 of Denbies award winning wines in the Denbies cellar. opTioN ii - £30 pEr pErSoN (All events last approximately 1 ½ - 2hrs)

Cellar Tasting & Canapé Reception; Hosted in the magnificent vaulted cellar - a selected tasting of six of Denbies award winning sparkling and still wines hosted by Denbies WSET Wine Expert. Canapés will be served to accompany the tasting. Tasting notes and guidelines will also be provided.

Blind Wine Tasting & Canapé Reception; Hosted in the Denbies Cellar by Denbies WSET Expert, compare a tasting of 6 wines, 3 from Denbies/3 from Europe. Canapes will be served to accompany the wine. It is an interesting and lively event which is guaranteed to stimulate the senses and guarantee that participants will appreciate a little more about the whole wine making process. Tasting notes and guidelines will also be provided.

Chocolate Making Demonstration Chocolate truffle making tutorial hosted by Denbies Pastry Chef. Create handmade chocolates to take home. Recipe and guidelines will also be provided opTioN iii - £39.50 pEr pErSoN (All events last approximately 2 ½ hrs)

Wine Quiz Wine tasting followed by wine quiz where participants will have the opportunity to call the bluff of the experts. No prior knowledge of wine is necessary to outwit the experts. Hosted in the Denbies Cellar, canapés will be served at the beginning of the event. Tasting notes and guidelines will also be provided.

Sparkling Wine and Champagne Challenge Appreciate the art of sparkling wine making from grape growing to the disgorging process. Followed by the Sparkling wine/Champagne challenge
