Lamb (back) was cleared to begin a throwing program on Monday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Lamb will begin a throwing program in the near future after being cleared by Dr. Robert Watkins. The southpaw hasn't thrown since undergoing offseason surgery on his back in October, so it will likely be a while before he's able to return to game action.
