Pianist and conductor Ian Hobson is recognized — Intermission — internationally for his masterly performances of the Romantic repertoire, his deft and idiomatic readings of neglected piano music old and new, and Three Romances, Op. 28 Robert Schumann his assured conducting from both the piano and the Connor Chee podium. Born in Wolverhampton, England, he studied at Op. 25, No. 1 Cambridge University (England), and at , in addition to his earlier studies Sarah Gillespie at the Royal Academy of Music.
