Tarkoituksena oli lisätä yhtyeen näkyvyyttä Kiteellä sekä luoda lisää aktiviteettia Night- wishin faneille. Polku oli tarkoitus tarinallistaa, eli suunnitella siihen hahmo ja pohtia, mitkä kohteet polulle otetaan mukaan ja mitä niistä kerrotaan. Opinnäytetyössä on perehdytty myös tarinallista- miseen ja tuotteistamiseen, mitä tarvittiin historiapolun tekemisessä. Opinnäytetyössä käytettiin tiedonkeruumenetelmänä kyselyjä, jotka toteutettiin Webropol-kysely työkalulla ja aineistoa analysoitiin laadullisesti. Kyselyjä tehtiin kaksi: suomen- ja englanninkieli- senä. Kyselyjä jaettiin sosiaalisessa mediassa ja ne kohdistettiin Nightwishin musiikkia kuuntele- ville. Kyselyjen tarkoituksena oli auttaa muodostamaan asiakasprofiilit sekä suomalaisista että ul- komaalaisista mahdollisista asiakasryhmistä. Opinnäytetyössä käytettiin myös kirjallisuutta ja säh- köisiä lähteitä. Tuomas Holopainen composes songs full of emotion and poetry and uses many strategies in order to accompany them musically. The songs of NIGHTWISH are a successful fusion of lyrical emotion and musical construction. How is NIGHTWISH’s popularity explained? What musical features characterize this band? Can the music of this group be analyzed from a music scientific point of view? The aim of this article is, on the one hand, to give sound answers to these questions and, on the other hand, to describe from a music analytical point of view the sound of this band in terms of how emotionality influences the musical construction. Studioalbums "HUMAN. II: NATURE." an diesen Ort, zu dieser Zeit, als aus Klopfen und Stimmen erstmals Rhythmen und Harmonien wuchsen. Das Keyboard, welches für Bandkopf, Hauptkomponist und Lyriker Tuomas Holopainen am Anfang der Entstehung jedes seiner Alben steht, kommt ebenso zum Einsatz wie die Uilleann Pipes des nordenglischen Multiinstrumentalisten Troy Donockley. Dessen traditionelle Klangfarben und Stimme stellen seit dem Album „Dark Passion Play“ (2007) und mit Troys Aufnahme als festes Bandmitglied im Jahr 2013 gewissermaßen die letzte, große Bereicherung des Sounds der Finnen dar. Natürlich drückt auch Gitarrist Emppu Vuorinen „Music“ mit einem rockenden Solo seinen metallischen Stempel auf – ebenso wie Ausnahme-Schlagzeuger Kai Hahto, der seit den Aufnahmen zu „Endless Forms Most Beautiful“ (2015) bei den Finnen sein vielseitiges und ebenso hochpräzises wie gefühlvolles Trommelspiel einsetzt. Das pointierte, warme Bass-Spiel des finnischen Rock-Veteranen Marko Hietala, der außerdem seine markante Stimme beiträgt, stützt als zweiter Rhythmus-Grundpfeiler das komplexe Klanggewölbe, dessen imposanter Überbaubau von grandiosen Chören und Streichern veredelt wird.

He also co- wrote Nightwish's own film, Imaginaerum, released in February 2012. Emppu Vuorinen Emppu is primarily a rhythm player, often supporting the keyboard or orchestral parts of Nightwish songs. However, he plays lead melodies and solos as well. His solos are more melodic than those of most metal bands. Jukka Nevalainen is the drummer.At the age of 17 (1991), Emppu had already been contacted by the songwriter and keyboard-player Tuomas Holopainen. Tuomas wanted to start an acoustic mood music project that would later become Nightwish and they needed a drummer so Emppu suggested Jukka to Tuomas.

„Nightwish“ – „Imaginaerum European Tour“ 01.05.2012 Arena Leipzig Durch den plötzlichen starken ersten Sommereinbruch in diesem Jahr war es am 01.05.2012 besonders warm, fast zu warm um zu einem Konzert zu gehen. Aber dieser Umstand hielt mich nicht davon ab zum Konzert der finnischen Band „Nightwish“ nach Leipzig zufahren. Einlass war für 19 Uhr angesetzt, aber als ich gegen 18:45 Uhr an der Arena ankamen war der Einlass schon in vollem Gange. Was ich nicht wusste, das Konzert begann schon um 19:30 Uhr und nicht erst um 20 Uhr wie es auf den Tickets stand. Pünktlich 19:30 Uhr betraten „Eklipse“ die Bühne. Die zwei Geigerinnen, ein Violinistin und die Cellistin setzten sich in ihren sehr barock anmutenden Kleidern und dazu gothic-verspielten Frisuren auf 4 weiße Hocker. Und dann legten sie los: sie intonierten Pop- und Rocksongs mit ihren klassischen Musikinstrumenten neu, à la „Apocalyptica“. Unter anderem spielten sie „Wonderfull Live“ von „Hurts“, „Paparazzi“ von „Lady Gaga“, auf wunderbare Weise „Linkin Parks“ „in The End“ und „Clocks“ von „Coldplay“. Auch ohne Gesang waren alle Stücke fantastisch anzuhören, was sicher alle Konzertbesucher bestätigen können. Nach einer sehr kurzen Umbaupause, denn alle Instrumente der folgenden Band standen bereits unter großen Tüchern verhüllt auf der Bühne, war die Stage frei für „Battle Beast“ aus Helsinki. Geboten wurde uns feinster Metal. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, welche Kraft Frauen in Metal- Bands in ihrer Stimme haben, wie in diesem Fall Nitte Valo. „Battle Beast“ spielten ihre eigenen Songs welche dem Publikum sichtlich gefielen. Besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben sind mir „Cyberspace“, weil es zu Beginn nach „Sonata Arctica“, ebenfalls eine finnische Metal-Band, klang aber dann doch „Battle Beasts“ eigene Note bekam, „Steel“, „Enter The Metal World“ und ihr letztes Lied für diesen Abend „Show Me How To Die“.
