It’s a phrase that you hear so often, you can often wonder what it really means. For ddrum, we have spent time looking back at our last 13 years and evaluating what we have accomplished. Our original goal was to bring drummers unique designs with a boutique feel. We have experimented with wood types and combinations, as well as shell hardware and mounting systems. For 2018, our goal is to apply what we have learned to our most popular and tried and true innovations. Going back to our roots, while putting some new ones down. The ultimate live snare. Shell thickness is a heavy gauge of 3mm steel, finished in mirrored chrome with chrome hardware. The drum features sturdy, full-shell bullet tube lugs as well as a smooth parallel snare throw off and die cast hoops. Easily the loudest drum in the line and guaranteed to cut through the loudest band, while also retaining snare sensitivity to the edge.
