The innovation continues with the introduction of ddrum’s Limited Edition “10th Anniversary” Acoustic Drums Kit - a drumset distinguished by custom features traditionally found only on the most expensive of custom sets. Using Hybrid Shell Technology, ddrum has combined the look and tone of maple, with the “earth-shaking” low end and tunability of alder. The Anniversary kit also features tube lugs for a small shell footprint combined with our Fixtpitch mounting system for a clean streamlined look and maximum resonance. Stability enhancing reso lifts allow the 20x22 Anniversary Kit When we began the conception of the new Anniversary kit, we wanted to make sure we incorporated some 20x22 bass drum to sing at its full note, as well as keeping of our innovations from the previous 10 years. We started with the shell we are no stranger to, offering the finish from being scratched on the floor. Rounding out 7x10 8x12 hybrid wood shells, and the new Maple/Alder shell is the ultimate realization of those efforts. Alder the kit are shallow rack and floor toms - popular features provides a warm mid-low punch and the outer plies of maple add a nice snap to the top end. The lug design is reminiscent of our Dios series. Low mass, sturdy and classy. To mount the drums, we turned to our introduced by ddrum on earlier kits. The 10th Anniversary 13x14 Kit is finished in classic ddrum colors - red sparkle to black proprietary Fixtpitch system, also utilizing our Resolifts for ultimate bass drum tone and isolation from burst with black nickel hardware.
