TWO UFC CHAMPIONS ON FS1 ANALYST DESK FOR FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BERMUDEZ VS. THE KOREAN ZOMBIE

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Cormier and Welterweight Champion Woodley Serve as Desk Analysts

LOS ANGELES – The night before Super Bowl LI on FOX, heats up with an exciting UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BERMUDEZ VS. THE KOREAN ZOMBIE live on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday, Feb. 4 (10:00 PM ET) live from the Toyota Center. UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (@DC_MMA) and welterweight champion Tyron Woodley (@TWooodley) work as desk analysts with host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) for the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT and POSTFIGHT SHOWS from FOX Sports’ Super Bowl Week set live at Discovery Green in downtown Houston. Reporter Megan Olivi (@MeganOlivi) interviews fighters.

Retired middleweight Brian Stann (@BrianStann) joins blow-by-blow announcer Jon Anik (@Jon_Anik) to call the fights live on FS1, while UFC bantamweight Erik "Goyito" Perez (@Goyito_Perez) and Victor Davila (@mastervic10) are the Spanish language broadcast team on FOX Deportes.

FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BERMUDEZ VS. THE KOREAN ZOMBIE is headlined by the return of fan-favorite “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung (13-4), in his first bout since completing two years of military service, against the No. 9-ranked Dennis Bermudez (17-5).

FOX UFC analyst Dominick Cruz believes this headliner will be an epic showdown because both of these fighters have unstoppable attitudes. “Talk about people who are game, people who have heart, and people who are in this no matter what – no matter how many times you cut them, drop them or hurt them,” he says. “Both of these guys bring that to the table. Bermudez has been through it all, gets dropped in fights and still gets back up and finishes people. Then you’ve got The Korean Zombie, who’s known for wars in the Octagon. I can’t wait to watch these guys throw down.” Watch a preview of the fight from last Saturday’s FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW here.

Also on Saturday night, Mexican phenom and No. 12-ranked (9-0) takes on veteran (11-6) in an explosive co-main event. Lightweights Abel Trujillo (15-6, 1NC) and James Vick (9-1) square off, while the No. 6-ranked light heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux (19-8) faces Volkan Oezdemir (12-1). Anthony Hamilton (15-6) and Marcel Fortuna (8-1) collide in a heavyweight battle. The No. 5-ranked strawweight Jessica Andrade (15-5) and (6-2) set the tone in the main card opener.

The two-hour UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS on FS1 begin at 8:00 PM ET and feature four bouts. Adam Milstead (8-1) faces Curtis Blaydes (6-1) in a heavyweight fight. Featherweights Chas Skelly (16-2) and Chris Gruetzemacher (13-1) tangle, while bantamweights Ricardo Ramos (9-1) and Michinori Tanaka (11-2) lock horns. The No. 6-ranked (7-1) and fellow TUF alum Bec Rawlings (7-5) open the PRELIMS with a strawweight bout.

Saturday’s coverage begins on FS1 (6:30 PM ET) with a special 90-minute FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW hosted by Bryant, with analysts Cormier and Woodley. The action wraps up after the main event with the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW. The FS1 UFC WEIGH-IN SHOW takes place on Friday, Feb. 3 (6:30 PM ET) on FS1 with the same studio crew.

On the popular FOXSports.com podcast “Fight Society,” host Damon Martin interviews strawweight Herrig about her co-main event and Hill about her return to the UFC. It’s available on iTunes and Soundcloud. Follow @UFConFOX on Twitter for live updates throughout the #UFCHouston fights this Saturday.

On Wednesday (9:00 PM ET, FS2), UFC TONIGHT hosts Cormier and Kenny Florian preview FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT and break down the exciting featherweight headliner.

Fans can live stream the fights on FOX Sports GO, available in English or Spanish through the FS1 or FOX Deportes feeds. The fight is available on desktop at FOXSportsGO.com and through the app store, or connected devices including Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Xbox One and Roku.
